Pastoral Scene

Tom: #1 was sitting at the computer and laughing. I took a look and there was an image of a field with a couple of cows grazing peacefully. So what, I thought, and then I did a double-take. Those weren't cows! Those were me and Pie the other day! So what if we did a little grazing? Does that give her the right to laugh?! Well, maybe it was quite funny...

Tama-Chan: I have been learning to use the computer! I keep asking #1 to get me some mouse-hunting games, but she hasn't given in yet. Maybe for Christmas?

Sen-Chan: Well, I have yet another upper respiratory infections. Runny nose, runny eyes, sneezing - the LOT! This appears to me my fate in life. So, I'm on medication again. It's a good job I am so nice about letting #1 give me pills! She says I am beginning breathe a little better, so she is pleased.

But I don't get a whole lot of down time from you know who...

  1. Sen-Chan, get well soon, you poor guy. Do you have "Engystol" in France? It's a homepathic medicine against respirational infections. Although it's for humans, vets recommed it for cats here, too. Of course you have to take the "hard stuff" now, but maybe you could take it for 2 weeks when you're feeling better... We hope the others are looking after you! : )

  4. Thanks, Siena and Chilli, for the ENGYSTOL recommendation. It looks good and #1 says she's going to order me some! It's not sold here in France, but we can get it via the Internet.

  9. Hi all! Either way, you'll get some Engystol. We can send it to you aswell! The vets here recommend it for about 2 weeks time to boost the immune system. The only thing is that they vary in the amount: One vet said half a pill a day and the other said 2 per day. So Chilli, who had the infection twice is getting 1 pill a day. There are different opinions on how to take it, too. Some dissolve it in the drinking water, some put it over the food and some give it straight into the mouth. Given that you're such a good boy Sen-Chan, the latter method could be the best.
And now, pleeeez get well soon!

  11. Sen-Chan I hope you feel better soon URIs are no fun at all. I hope you don't become a frequent flyer at the vets. Tama-Chan I see you as an elite gamer, catching all the mice in every game. Tom, you and Pie do not look like cows and a dog may graze wherever he likes. Humans do laugh at the most inexplicable things
