Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends. I am taking a few minutes out of taking care of #1 to prepare my blog post. Poor #1 had a nightmare journey to Paris. Her trains were cancelled in both directions (unannounced strike action) and she had to go and come back with stops and changes in trains at Chartres. In the morning, she had just 5 minutes to sprint from one train to the other, a challenge given her bum hip, but she did it. She arrived for her appointment 45 minutes late, but she had emailed and phoned to say she'd be late and the doctor did see her. The journey back was just as horrendous. And to top it all off, that scamp, Benny, managed to escape at dusk and it took almost an hour to get him back in. Ollie was very helpful in telling #1 where he was, so a gold star for him. And today, #1 must prepare to leave tomorrow hoping that there won't be cancelled trains and flights....
Anyway, I have just a few photos for you today:
Our blogging and commenting are likely to be intermittent until #1 gets back next week, so please bear with us!
we are so sorry... that is such a crap.... but you can not go with a car to paris... you have to come two days earlier to find a parking lot... and in worst case this is more expensive than a howltel for our own butt LOLReplyDelete
I am sorry #1 had such a bad journey yesterday. I hope tomorrow goes better. Everywhere is striking and it is the public who suffer.ReplyDelete
Good that you are taking care of your #1; she has had a tough go of it. We will hope that she has smooth "sailing" tomorrow.ReplyDelete
It’s Puddy boy here, in some point blog doesn’t allowed her to use my account 🙀ReplyDelete
Sorry for a trouble, I hope things will turn smoothly later 🐾
I do hope the trains run today and no more horror trips to Paris. I am so happy Benny was found and a big thank you to you, Ollie. Prayers your today will be much better than yesterday...hang on to your phone.ReplyDelete
Gee! It's bad enough to be traveling, but worse when strikes disrupt things!! We are hearing about it on the news! WE wish #1 good luck...paws crossed! Oh Benny!!!!! Stay indoors or you may find yourself wearing a harness !ReplyDelete
No wonder #1 felt as if a trip to Wolf Brewing was necessary!ReplyDelete
We are both winded and frazzled!
And BENNY - channeling NAHoubini?
PeeEssWoo: Hi Ollie - I'm glad you are behaving!
Oh wow. That was a disaster, Mom said she hasn't had a disaster like that in a score of years. And yours was worse! Hers was bad but yours beat it. She, mom, was hopping between flights and good thing she has strong legs!ReplyDelete
Goodness #1 is having so much trouble. She should stay home with all of you and be safe. Although we understand about humans needing their fix-it place visits.ReplyDelete
What a mess for #1. So sorry to hear that public transportation has to be so messed up. Just when #1 must have these appointments.ReplyDelete
Charlee: "Poor #1! That is way too much running and sprinting if you ask me."ReplyDelete
Java Bean: "I think it sounds like fun."
Chaplin: "Puppies are so weird."
Lulu: "We are glad you got Benny back inside safely. No escaping, Benny! It's a big scary world out there!"
Hokey smokes, that's a trip from heck!ReplyDelete
Yes sounds like quite the travel pain, good job Ollie though, play bows,ReplyDelete
You look lovely as always, Tama-Chan. We have our paws crossed that all goes well for #1's travels.ReplyDelete
Poor #1, that was quite the ordeal and I sure hope this upcoming trip is smoother. You look lovely as always sweet Tama!ReplyDelete
Oh dear - we are relieved to know that #1 got her appointment and Benny was foun - but how stressful - especially with the extra distractions of the strike. Purrayers that she will have a better time tomorrow !ReplyDelete
You look lovely as always, Tama-Chan. We hope #1 got a good report form the Dr. and we hope her next trip goes a lot smoother. Glad Benny was found good for Ollie telling on hime.ReplyDelete
You look beautiful, Tama. So sorry about all of #1’s travel problems. But I’m glad she got a good report from the doctor.ReplyDelete
