Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends. I am taking a few minutes out of taking care of #1 to prepare my blog post. Poor #1 had a nightmare journey to Paris. Her trains were cancelled in both directions (unannounced strike action) and she had to go and come back with stops and changes in trains at Chartres. In the morning, she had just 5 minutes to sprint from one train to the other, a challenge given her bum hip, but she did it. She arrived for her appointment 45 minutes late, but she had emailed and phoned to say she'd be late and the doctor did see her. The journey back was just as horrendous. And to top it all off, that scamp, Benny, managed to escape at dusk and it took almost an hour to get him back in. Ollie was very helpful in telling #1 where he was, so a gold star for him. And today, #1 must prepare to leave tomorrow hoping that there won't be cancelled trains and flights....

Anyway, I have just a few photos for you today:

Our blogging and commenting are likely to be intermittent until #1 gets back next week, so please bear with us!

  1. we are so sorry... that is such a crap.... but you can not go with a car to paris... you have to come two days earlier to find a parking lot... and in worst case this is more expensive than a howltel for our own butt LOL

  2. I am sorry #1 had such a bad journey yesterday. I hope tomorrow goes better. Everywhere is striking and it is the public who suffer.

  7. No wonder #1 felt as if a trip to Wolf Brewing was necessary!

We are both winded and frazzled!

  8. Oh wow. That was a disaster, Mom said she hasn't had a disaster like that in a score of years. And yours was worse! Hers was bad but yours beat it. She, mom, was hopping between flights and good thing she has strong legs!

  9. Goodness #1 is having so much trouble. She should stay home with all of you and be safe. Although we understand about humans needing their fix-it place visits.
