Tama-Chan: Our thanks today go beyond the ocean, to friends of ours in Prince Edward Island, Canada, whom we familiarly call The Island Chans. There are three of them, Older Brother Sami, and barely out of kittenhood, Yuki and Louis. They are all gingers!
Our pal Louis-Chan is a gorgeous long-haired ginger boy:
He had a terrible accident last Sunday, landing badly when jumping down from something, and broke his hip! So, he has surgery earlier this week. It went well, for which we are very thankful, and Louis is now back home, minus a chunk of his beautiful furs:
In the meantime, his brother Yuki-Chan turns out to be a great adventurer. Believe it or not, he loves going to the beach with his Dad!
And more recently, he has been enjoying the snow. That does make sense, though, because his name means SNOW in Japanese!
Of course, we don't want to forget big brother, Sami-Chan, so here he is with his Dad:
