Tommy: Remember me telling you recently about all the burrs in the fields at the moment? Here is a photo taken yesterday morning:
Can you see them? Now, here is a photo of my tummy after #1 had already started to remove them:
And here is one of my ears:
And here is what #1 combed out of me:
I was very thankful for the time she spent removing all those nasty little sticky things. As you can see, I was a really good boy for her:
And it is because I am such a good boy that I get to go out for pizza with her, and I get my very own slice!
For which I am also very thankful!
wOW!!! That IS a lot of burrs!
ReplyDeleteWE would really dislike having them in our furs!
Going for pizza is a pawsome reward :)

Oh wow, lucky you getting pizza!
ReplyDeleteHopefully maybe soon all the burrs will be gone because they'll all have got stuck to you and been removed and then you can run free and wild without worries! x
Those are a lot of burrs! My human had an indoor/outdoor cat in the 1980s and 1990s - a pretty longhaired calico - and she was always combing out foxtails.
ReplyDeleteYummy pizza sure beats those sticky burrs Tommy!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, Tommy! Didn't those burrs itch?
ReplyDeleteC'est pénible ces trucs là. Il y en a beaucoup dans ton pré.
ReplyDeleteIci il y en a des plus petits. Ils collent même sur moi. C'est agaçant.
Ca a l'air bon ta pizza.

Oh, those burrs must be just awful for you AND #1 - they look very picky to us. You are a good boy for letting her take them all out, Tommy, and you deserve that pizza.
ReplyDeleteWoos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You did a good job of collecting those burrs, Tommy. #1 made a better job of getting them out again.
ReplyDeleteWow Tommy that is a LOT of burrs ! Good for you for being so good and for #1 combing you out, instead of just giving you a buzz cut !
ReplyDeleteYou could go bald Tommy with all those burrs and brushing.
ReplyDeleteYou are the best dog ever, dear Tommy. Glad there was a reward for you after your brushing. Hugs and kisses.
ReplyDelete#1 is very patient to comb all those sticky things from your fur. She is also very good to let you play in the field knowing all the work she will have afterwords.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that looks absolutely terrible, glad they all got gleaned out there Tommy! Play bows,
ReplyDeleteNuk
THAT is most awful!
ReplyDeleteMommy remembers having to do that for the Hairy Slobbery Sister Bob a few times. Did you try to bite #1 (like Bob did) when some of the worst were being combed.
