Sei-Chan: Yes, the weather is still very cold and they are predicting more icy rain and snow from tonight. #1 is NOT happy at all given that our lane has not yet (and probably never will be) cleared from the last lot! As you know, Tommy has been having a wonderful time in the snow, but we wanted to show you that we kitties don't need snow to have a good time!
Yuu-Chan and I have our high beam and cat condo for adventurous play!
As for the kittens, they have figured out how to play with toys:
How to lurk and pounce:
And how to attack mousies:
The mousie attack is the the most important thing for a kitten to learn, of all the things!
ReplyDeleteWe love the high beam and kitty condo shots. We wonder if we could convince Grandpa that he should remodel his house with something like that heehee.
ReplyDeleteGood playing, kittens!
Purrs,
9 and Chani
Sorry that you will be getting freezing rain...that's icky! But for kitties who are inside having fun, it hardly matters...the kittens look so cute and intense playing with their toys.
ReplyDeleteHi silky and slender furriends. I am going to post about a cool indoor activity too.
ReplyDeletePurrs, Chilli
Now I know that the reason I don't play much with toys is that I never learned it as a kitten! Sorry your weather is being so frustrating.
ReplyDeleteAww cute kittens playing!
ReplyDeleteWow! You can get up really high. Glad to see that the little ones know what to do with toys.
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Niamh & Ambrose
We think it is great that you are able to have so much fun in the house! And we are glad the babies are learning to play with toys - that is a great thing for them. And trust us, you do not want to go outside in the cold and snow - not too fun for kitties! We hope it warms up for you soon!
ReplyDelete...is Tommy allowed in that den??? ...and do the kitties gang up? Tell Tom' that we'll be there to help if needed (hehe)

Whoooah! those kittties are coming on leaps and bounds. They are gorjuss!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks like the purrfect place for a cat! The kittens are getting bigger everyday, it's amazaing how fast they grow. Of course, their Mom know why they are growing so fast, it's all that milk! We really like that yarn ball.
ReplyDeleteThe kits are doing a great job of being little hunters. I love that beam up there--what a great place to snoopervise from!
ReplyDeleteI love the lurk and pounce pikh!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Tommy!
Tama-Chan is such a good mother and teaches her younglings well! They will all be Master Mousers when they graduate to their Forever Homes! That high beam-to-condo jump looks fun! Has anyone ever knocked over the condo in rambunctious play?
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that the doggies do seem to like the snow. I don't get it myself. I totally agree with you that the kitties can have all of the fun they want inside the warm of their homes. Yes, cats rule!
ReplyDeleteSo cold! Waiting for the snow in the warm!!
ReplyDeleteThe kitties are so nice

Isn't Tama-Chan teaching her babies well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous place to play! (Humans! We need something like that!)
ReplyDeleteWe're pleased to see that the education of the kittens is progressing nicely ;-)
Those cute little kittens are growing so quickly.
ReplyDeleteLove the mouse attack photo!
ReplyDeleteHope your weather eases up a little soon!
Howling rain and wind here!! Horrible weather!
take care

Wow! We wish we had a high beam like that!!
ReplyDeleteGet off that beam! My brother, Bob the feline, was on a high beam and you know what his nickname was after that? One-fang. Beware!
ReplyDeleteTwink!
Wow, how'd you get up on that high beam?
ReplyDeleteThose kittens are precious; good "lurk and pounce" technique!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the yukky weather! The kittens are so cute at play!
ReplyDeleteAdorableness abounds! Oh, just want to cuddle and hug em!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun to watch kittens grow and learn. Mom loved watching Charli's Angels grow up.
