Tom: They had been predicting snow for several days so, this time, we thought we were prepared but.... when #1 and I went out last night at midnight for our last rounds, we almost sank! We didn't realise what had been happening and during the evening, something like a foot of snow came down! That is more than anyone remembers ever seeing here! We went to bed very excited about what our morning walk would bring us, and we were not disappointed!
The sun was shining!
The air smelled delicious!
Here is our house:
and the path down to the trout stream:
The big field:
And the magnificent oak trees:
I just LOVE the snow and I had the best time!
It was beyond awesome! When we got back, #1 had to spend quite a bit of time getting the snow crystals out from between my toes, and up my legs and on my tummy! And then I got special paw salve rubbed into my pawpads! This is the life!
Wow! It's a winter wonderland for you to enjoy, Tommy!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful in the sunshine! Tom, you are clearly enjoying playing in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Just beautiful! That is very much snow indeed. We are in for more snowfall too on Friday and the weekend but we never get much snow. Tommy, you look glorious!
ReplyDeleteMom just told us that she is going to visit you! We will both try to sneak into her travelling bag. Exciting!

What a breathtaking part of the world to live in. You are one lucky woofie, Tommy:)
ReplyDeleteThat is mighty big snow! I am glad you had so much fun and got a soothing foot massage to boot.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Oh look at your tail wag!!! Grete wants to teleport over right now to play!
ReplyDeleteGo Tommy!
ReplyDeleteWow you got a lot of snow! We are expecting about that much here in the next day or so - but us kitties aren't so thrilled about it! We think it is much more of a dog thing! Have fun but stay warm (and keep the kitties warm too!)
ReplyDeleteWow, it's beautiful! No wonder you're wagging your tail and looking so content :-)
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
WOW, those pictures are so beautiful! I would have been excited too.
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting snow in Bouches du Rhone tonight. I'd be very disappointed if I wake up tomorrow to snow-free roads :-)
That is a lovely winter wonderful--but I personally think I'd rather be INSIDE.
ReplyDeleteWow Tommy, that is real proper snow and you look fantastic in it!
ReplyDeleteWe loved every one of your snow pictures!
Enjoy!
Oh Tommy, you look like you are having the best time in that snow! But take it from a snow veteran, you've got to stick your whole snooter deep into the snow so that only your eyes show when you lift your head up! You have no idea what you might find in the snow. I usually find at least one long-lost tennis ball! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThat photo of you by the trout stream path is gorgeous!
Your pal,
Petey
*SIGH!*
ReplyDeleteWhat a Siberian Wonderland!
Tank woo fur sharing!
If I didn't know better, by your tail akhtion I would think woo had LOTS OF FUN!

ReplyDeleteYour pal,
Titus
Wow! Where you live looks like something out of a movie!
ReplyDeleteHow magical, Tommy! We especially loved the photo of the path down to the stream! Mom made that "ooooohhh" sound when she saw it! You live in such a marvelous place!
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
Beautiful! Tommy, you are so manly in the snow. Did you enjoy it when #1 got the snow from between your toes?

Tom, it is beautiful where you live! You are smiling from ear to ear and your tail is wagging like crazy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your snowy day with us.
Look how beautiful it is there! I don't want any more of the white stuff though...too much here already!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the snow just wonderful, Tommy? We have lots here too but today it is actually too cold for us to enjoy it. But we have had fun in it before the frigid temps hit us. Your trees look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTail wags, Phantom and Thunder
The cold crisp air makes all the smells super great out there!!! (at least that is what our bird dogs tell us!)
ReplyDeleteTommy I thought you had shrunk!!!! But then I saws it was just snow hehe
ReplyDeleteI bet that would have been so much fun!! You guys sure are having it :))
You realy enjoyed it in that white stuff. Mum said it reminded her again of her spaniels at the bridge, They loved it too. I dont like our snow at all.. You enjoy... HUgs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteWOW! You really got quite a bit of snow ... beautiful. It was fun seeing your tail wagging so much as you enjoyed the snow, Tommy. :)
ReplyDeleteWow you gots lots of snow! That is normal for us here but not you. Tom you clearly enjoyed running and playing in the snow. Your pictures where beauteous.
ReplyDeleteBe careful!!! You might lose the puppy!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Tommy - we apologise for not leaving a message for a while but we have been following your blog avidly. Female human is in LOVE with your kittens - we're a bit worried 'cos she thinks they're much cuter than us - gasp!! Still, we have to agree with her...!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the snow is WONDERFUL! We were intrigued to hear of your paw salve - we've never heard of that before and we're really bothered by icy paws. Is this salve specific for these conditions - we simply MUST send our humans out to get some for us....!
Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
