Feline Friday

Benny: Me-YOW, Everyone! It's great to see you and host today's post! I would like to start today's post with this pic of me supervising one of #1's summer sweaters:

And here is one of me in the cat run at night, taken by Mr. G when #1 was away:

And a pretty cool one of Baby Ryū:

A daytime shot of Momo looking incredibly white and fluffy!

Ryū's wild side (reminds us a bit of Da Beebs!)

Me and Momo discussing a toy:

Whilst we youngsters play, Queen Tama continues to take her duties of helping #1 with her work very seriously:

PS: Thanks to Mr. G for all the cool pics he always takes of us!

Thankful Thursdays - 16 Years and Going Strong!

Tama-Chan: We were unable to celebrate our 16th Blogoversary properly on June 28, as #1 was away. You know that I am known as "The Keeper of Memories" as well as being Queen of this house. I arrived at Poupounette Central in late October 2008, just four months after the blog was started by Sen-Chan and Tommy. You can find our very first blog post here. Sen-Chan had been longing for a sister and my arrival fulfilled his dreams. He simply adored me and me him. You can find my very first post here. Here is a picture from that post of me and my big brother:

Sadly, we lost the wonderful Sen-Chan to FeLV a few short months later. It was Tommy who looked after me then, and I adored him.

The next year, I had my one and only litter of kits and that scamp Bibi (aka Da Beebs) managed to convince #1 to let him stay.

Over the years we were also joined by Sei-Chan, Yuu-Chan, and Genji, and happily blogged about everyone's adventures. They are all long gone now, as is Tommy, and I am the only one who remains, the Keeper of Memories. I am thankful to still be here with my beloved #1 who waits on me hand and foot and does everything she can think of to make my life wonderful.

Here is a pic that Mr. G took of me when #1 was away. I am sitting in my carrier which I really love and so #1 has left it in the living room for me! See what I mean?

I am also thankful that we are still blogging and sharing our adventures with all of our friends around the world!

(Almost) Wordless Woofie Wednesday

Ollie: #1 came back from Paris and brought all this stuff back with her!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Harumpphhhh. The nerve of the woman! You know how much I treasure my #1, but REALLY?  She has gone off to Paris again! She said it was only for a few hours and she would be back late afternoon/early evening. She said she simply had to go now, as she has to collect her accreditation and official's uniform for the Paralympic Games before Olympic madness gets under way, and Paris becomes a zoo starting next week. Do you think she deserves my forgiveness?

As you can see from the above, I am continuing to help her with her work.

We have had some nice sunpuddles and I am told we will be getting more in the coming week as the weather finally warms up a little.

The perfect occasion for a little light dangling!

Manly Monday

Ollie: Woofs, everybody! Ollie here. Here we are, back to our regular blogging schedule. Thank you for bearing with us whilst #1 was here, there and everywhere.

Let me start with a couple of nice garden shots of me:

And here is a fun one of me with my bros, Benny and Momo:

#1 is quite pleased with these photos of Benny she has managed to take since her return:

Momo continues to enjoy the window hammock:

And Ryū has been enjoying our recent sunpuddles!

Last but not least, The Big V has sent us fresh pics of the latest fancy wedding he did!

We wish you all a good week!

Stupendous Saturday!

Tama-Chan: #1 is finally back! I started purring the moment I heard the key turn in the lock and have not stopped since! Mr. G looked after us so well, as always, but it's different having our #1 back.

As son as she arrived and started unpacking the car, the boys started sniffing around. Momo was the first to sniff the 'nip cigar she brought us!

Quickly followed by Ryū:

And Benny:

I did not join the fray. I know I shall get more than my fair share of the many goodies she brought us:

Momo was first again to check the stash!

#1 brought lots and lots of yummy food for Ollie!

Can you see that he even got a bone-shaped stuffie with his name on it? We also got some new dinner mats as the old ones were beginning to look a little shabby:

And Ollie got some new bowls and a little pony!

Here he is in the garden with #1 yesterday evening. The grass is so green, with all the rain we have been having!

We will return to our regular posting schedule from next Monday!

Woofie Show on Saturday!

Hello everyone, #1 here! Do you remember us? The Poupounette Gang apologises for this long silence but I, the scribe, have been working 12-14 hour days every day all week and have not had the energy to help anyone post. Still! In the course of the week, I have come across a lot of wonderful woofies and wanted to share some of them with you.

First off, we have this adorable 9-week old Springer Spaniel Puppy by the name of Cody:

Next is Ghillie, a gorgeous black German Shepherd who belongs to our Chief Steward, Ms. J:

And here is the adorable companion of one of the members of the Irish Para-Dressage team, Ms. K, wearing a fabulous Para-Team Ireland shirt:

Then I met another Springer Spaniel, this one a gorgeous girl called Isla:

As I sat supervising the warm-up and sending riders down to compete, there appeared this lovely whippet and his Spaniel buddy:

Who were subsequently joined by another Spaniel:

And here is the final cute overload of a sweet little girl and and an adorable whippet baby!

It's going to be hard for us to blog until my return to France on Friday of next week, so please bear with us a little longer!
