Thoughtfully Thankful Thursday

Ollie: Woof Woof. Ollie here. Last night, we had an announcement by our President Macron that, due to the recent spike in COVID 19 cases, the area around Paris and 8 other large cities  would be faced with a curfew from 9pm, starting Saturday. We do not live in one of those zones, so it won't affect us directly, but we are aware of the gravity o the situation, whether here or elsewhere. That is why we were so pleased to see this beautiful rainbow yesterday evening:

And I am thoughtfully thankful of all the good things in my life:

  4. Yes Ollie, these are very worrying times. I hope the local lockdowns and curfews work otherwise I think we may face another total lockdown.
Like you, we are lucky to live in an area that has one of the lower infection rates.

  6. Rainbows are beautiful.
Around here, the numbers have gone higher and higher, and we are grateful for our quiet home that is big enough to house us all without too much elbowing.

  8. Your handsome pic, and that beautiful rainbow are indeed reminders that life is still good, and these other awkward measures are there for good reasons...even though they are such a pain.

We hope your area stays healthy.

  9. People around here, at least some, don't care that things are aweful. They are just complaining that they can't go out and party, drink and just generally be silly.

  11. We all need to find the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow and chase away that nasty virus. Stay safe. Very nice post, Ollie.
