Tama-Chan: Can you believe that October is almost gone? Our clocks went back last weekend, and it's now almost dark by 6pm. Sigh...
The season being what it is, I have taken up my winter quarters in the little comfy igloo on the landing. It is just supremely cozy!
Of course, I do still venture downstairs for meals and when there are sunpuddles. Yesterday, it was unexpectedly sunny after raining all weekend, and before the rain came back last night, so I enjoyed a bath in the sun:
And the kitchen radiator remains a favourite, especially when I know that #1 is preparing something yummy:
Things seem to be spiralling out of control in France, with a huge increase in the number of people testing positive for the virus. The area where we live has so far been spared the sterner measures such as the 9pm curfew that has been imposed over half of the country, but we are wondering how long that will last. Stay safe, everyone!
This second wave is happening in a lot of places... just like what happened 100 years ago, with the Spanish flu. I think we are in for a hard winter.
ReplyDeleteyour photos are fab!!!!! we struggle with the time change... it becomes a time challenge here LOL
ReplyDeleteAs the days get cooler, it's nice to have lots of cozy spots for sleeping and for hanging out.
ReplyDeleteSunny spots are purrfect for bathing :)
Oh that nasty virus!I wish it would go away too.
Purrs, Julie
I don't like these dark evenings either. No sun puddles here, just more rain.
ReplyDeleteThe Covid is spiralling everywhere and getting worse every day. We have it in the village which came from one of the pubs. Thankfully we have kept away from everyone and are staying safe.
Tama-Chan, we are all dealing with some very weird stuff these days, but I think Da Boyz, Sweetie, and The PO'M are enjoying my continued presence at home!
ReplyDeleteYou sure look pretty sweet Tama! Our time changes this Sunday, we don't like. Y'all stay safe from that evil Covid.
ReplyDeleteSigh.... we think the second wave is starting here. Too many positive numbers. Our clocks go back next week, so we'll have to remind our mom to get out early for a walk. P.s. We love your photos.
ReplyDeleteYou're looking great, Miss Tama. That igloo sure looks like a cozy place to nap.
ReplyDeleteThe virus is getting out of control here too - or was it ever really under control??? The cases seem to be forever increasing in our county. It makes Mom sad about the holidays:(
ReplyDeleteTama, you look so very cozy in your igloo.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We agree with Summer : things are getting worse here too. You look very cosy, Tama. Purrs
ReplyDeleteOur clocks go back this weekend. Mum doesn't like the idea of it being dark at 5 PM!
ReplyDeleteBeing dark early makes the depressing viral mess even more so...so far we are safe and 'clean'. Petcretary gets tested every week, on account of her working in a nursing home.
ReplyDeleteA nice cozy spot and or a bright sun puddle will for sure be more than welcome here too!
