Family Friday

Genji: I can't believe it's already been a week since I last hosted Family Friday! Hey, guess what? This will be our last FF in confinement, or t least we hope so. From next Monday, France is easing rules on going out and people will be able to go out when they want, where they want, as long as it's no more than 100km from where they live. #1 says it won't change things much for her, since she can already go and see the horses, but that it will be nice to see some friends again.

We have continued to hang out together.

When Ollie was growing up, #1 asked friends to take a photo at the end of each month of her and Ollie, to show how he was growing. We hadn't done one since Ollie turned one last October, and since he turned 18 months at the end of April, Ms. C took a photo when they last went to see the horses:

And since it is Family Friday, here are mother and daughter Hotesse and Heloise!

Wishing you all a good Friday. It's a holiday in France today (VE Day). Stay safe, and stay well!

  2. It is good that you get more freedom from Monday.
Boris Johnson is giving an announcement on Sunday night about how we may be going forward. I don't think many restrictions will be lifted yet as the infection and death rate although going down is still very high.
We have sheltered at home for 7 weeks now and will continue for the full 12 weeks. We are hoping some travel restrictions will be lifted so we can at least drive up on to the moors. We know some very isolated spots so it would be safe for us when we are able to.

  7. We bet #1 will enjoy seeing some friends again. Y'all do look very happy though. Our state is basically open but if you are old (like our peeps) you are supposed to stay in...forever probably.

  8. Paws crossed that everything goes well as restrictions are eased in France! We are still a sorry mess here in the U.S.

  9. It will be a time of great rejoicing when we can get out and about somewhat normally again...

Loved seeing you all! The last picture would be a nice one for Mother's Day!

  11. Being together as family is always a good thing. The rules will relax a bit here in a week or so, but Mom and Dad will probably still be very cautious and rely on others to help them for the most part.

    Have a great weekend.
