#1 here. Today marks one year since Da Beebs made his final journey to the Rainbow Bridge. He had been so sick over the previous months, and yet he fought so hard to stay and get better. By the end, he was all used up and there was no way back. I have lost a number of Chans and Tommy over the past few years but, somehow, Bibi's loss has been the hardest to come to terms with. Perhaps it is because he was born here and, to him, I really was his #1 person, much more than his actual mother Tama.
Since this anniversary falls on a Sunday, I decided to do a post with just snuggle pics.
The last few photos in the garden were taken during his last two weeks with us, and the very last photo was taken at the vet's, just as we said goodbye. He left on his journey cradled in my arms.
I miss you, my Bibi boy 💔💔💔
What a special boy. We love the snuggle photos and understand that sometimes one of our furr babies enters a spot in our hearts like no other one ever does. Lorine & Simon xx

He was here for too short a time.

ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos of your dear boy. The photo at the vets for your final snuggle made me cry. The light shining in his eye looked like a tear, because no matter how he tried he couldn't stay any longer.
ReplyDeleteLong distance hugs

ReplyDeleteA sweet remembrance of Bibi.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful and sweet snuggle memories to treasure forever.
ReplyDeleteHim and Tommy together remind me so much of our MJF and Simba, and a wee bit of MJF with Minko.
I don't think Pipo will ever snuggle with the hooligans that live here now, though if he passes by one who is a sleep, he will sniff them.
These pictures show such a loving relationship and bond. I am so sorry.
