Tommy: Woofs, everyone. Today is the day #1 and I take our precious Tama to get all those tests done. They will happen under general anesthetic and we may not be able to return and update until this evening, so please bear with us. But if you could send good thoughts and cross paws, we would much appreciate it.
Yesterday, I accompanied #1 to lunch with a couple of friends at a pretty fancy restaurant. As is the case almost everywhere in France, dogs are allowed, and I was complimented by the people there about my gentlemanly behaviour, and invited to come back anytime!
Here I am being a good boy:
And looking a little coy in this one:
And in case you were wondering, this is what #'s main course looked like:
And another (different ball!):
UPDATE: We are back from a full day of tests with Tama. She came through everything well. She appears to have some kind of fairly severe broncho-pneumonia although we won't know the causes, and therefore the best treatment, until we get some test results back. More details and some photos in tomorrow's blog post. Thanks so much for all the good thoughts!
Tommy, we are not surprised that you have good manners :)
ReplyDeleteWe purr you got a little treat at the restaurant ;)

ReplyDeleteWe are hoping the vet also take x-rays of Tama's lungs to rule out anything on the lungs themselves. We will be sending lover her way today.
Tommy, Wilhelmina shyly claims you look very handsome and dapper photographed outside with your balls. :)

C'est grâce aux chiens comme toi, qui savent se tenir, que les chiens sont acceptés dans les restaurants.
ReplyDeleteJ'espère que tout c'est bien passé pour Tama.
Bonne soirée

Tama, I am right there with you and the family hoping for a good course of treatment to help you straight away.
ReplyDeleteWe know you're a gentledog, Tommy, well done ! We cross our paws for sweet Tama and hope the results help to chose the best treatment for her. Purrs
ReplyDeleteYou are a special guy Tommy, and handsome too. Purrs to sweet Tama and to getting that pneumonia under control.
ReplyDeleteWe are so jealous that you get to go to the restaurants, Tommy, but we aren't so sure we would be as well-behaved as you are.
ReplyDeletePoor Tama. But at least you have something to work with. All paws crossed for her to do well with some new meds.
Woos - Lightning and Misty
ohhhh poor Tama! Bronchitis is NO fun! Purrs to you for a speedy recovery! (and TOmmy, you do "coy" quite well!)
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad to hear you have a reason for Miss Tama's illness. You are the envy of all the dogs across the pond Tommy. We will never be allowed in a restaurant around here.
