Gen-Chan & The Beebs: Greetings one and all, the Shining Prince and Beebsteroo here! We had a very busy weekend as we helped #1 put up our Christmas tree, and it's a big job!
Gen-Chan had to start by checking that the lights were correctly positioned:
During this time, The Beebs was supervising the ornaments:
With Genji helping too, of course!
Once everything was in place, Gen-Chan did quality control:
And rapidly located the Winnie's Wish ornament we boys share...
Whilst The Beebs posed against the tree:
Tom: Did I miss something?
Well, I was tired. I had a busy morning out!
Vidock: How do you like my new hairstyle?
This was after #1 had spent some time brushing me. Personally, I prefer the rather more windswept look. Here I am, coming over to say hello to #1:
We will leave you with this rather amusing felt stickie that #1 found among things she had bought in Japan. It's known as covering all bases...
Have a great week, everyone!
Happy Merry Manly Windswept Monday! haha!
ReplyDeleteWell, Vidock, I kind of prefer the windswept look as well. The bangs on the face make you look like a hippy. At least that is what Momma says. She is reckoning your #1 is old enough to know what a hippy looks like.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
This is very manly - we notice not a girlcat in sight when all the hard work is to be done. We are trying to persuade Äiti that she really does want the 'hassle' of a tree and it will cheer her up.
ReplyDeleteWwll, you boys did a superb job. Even Tommy did a superb job of sleeping. :) We like th windswept look as we can see your kind eyes Vidock.
ReplyDeletethe amigos and san
You boy-cats did a great job of helping with the tree and Tommy looked like he was snoopervising with his eyes closed. BOL! Vidock I have to say you forelock looks lovely all brushed out, but I would prefer to see your beautiful eyes too.
ReplyDeleteMillie
Thank you for stopping by our blog to leave kind words about Devon's passing.
ReplyDeleteVidock the windswept look is very casual and just right for being outside. Genji and The Beebs did a great job of decorating the tree.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
What a pretty tree! The lady likes those trees where the branches spread out and you can really see the ornaments. But, our cottage is too small, so we have a skinny fake tree that she sprays balsam scent on.
ReplyDeleteGreat supervision and quality control. Beebs looks like a museum cat in that one photo.
Vidock, you need a barrette. I know you're a boy, but still...
Tommy has the right idea.
We kitties were kind of hoping my human would get the tree up this weekend too, but no luck! She spent more time on the computer instead.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you have such great helpers.
ReplyDeleteWe think Vidock should try wearing dreads, hee hee!
ReplyDelete*waves paws madly* HI HI HI! We's sooo sorry we've been so remiss in visiting - mommy was sick last week and very RUDELY refused to get online for us. Hrmpf.
ReplyDeleteWe think you've done a meowvelous job snoopervising all the holiday decor intallation!
And yes, Tom, we canz see you had a very tiring day, MOL!
It's beginning to look alot like Christmas in your home! We helped put up the Christmas tree this weekend as well.It looks as though the kitten babies, unlike last year, now have a very firm interest in the Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteGenji...are you being naughty or nice about the tree?! :p
the critters in the cottage xo
You guys did a wonderful job on the tree
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Mom says maybe that silly Donald Trump fella should try that look!
ReplyDeleteHugz&Khysses,
Khyra
PeeEssWoo: Oh Tommy! Such fun!
Good job helping with that beautiful Christmas tree, guys! And I love the picture of Vidock running -- I can almost hear the sound of his big hooves on the ground :)
ReplyDeleteYour tree is lovely! You boys did an excellent job. Genii outdid himself with the lights. It's the job we find most stressful at our house. Beebs had a good eye for colour and balance of ornaments. And we know Tommy's presence kept a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Treats for all are in order.
ReplyDeleteWe miss seeing your soft, velvety eyes, Vidock. We opt for the off the face look.
Love to the girls.
Wow! That's a beautiful tree!!
ReplyDeleteThat felt stickie thing is cool isnt it?!
Happy Holidays to you!!
Cheers,
Maxx
