Gen-Chan: Yesterday we received a package from England. #1 had won something in an auction that had been donated by GJ. But when we opened the package, it contained all kinds of great stuff in addition to the auction item!
There was a pop-up tent, all kinds of mousie toys and balls, treats for Tommy, a cute little calendar (featuring Meowet Champagne on the cover!), a lovely bracelet for #1 and a great card featuring GJ in his Christmas finery. I immediately inspected everything:
And placed the paw of approval on the bracelet:
Thanks GJ and Carol! You made our day!
Also on the subject of WOW, #1 and Tommy saw this in one of the fields next to the house this morning:
They had never seen an egret in winter in our fields before!
Wow, indeed! Congratulations! GJ was certainly generous and quite thoughtful!
ReplyDeleteSure was a pawsome parcel you got from GJ and his mom !
ReplyDeleteWe have never seen a Egret in the middle of the winter either , we do have Egrets near by in the summertime.
That GJ and Carol are the very best. Look at all that great stuff that you got. How special is that. That picture of the egret is great. That sure is a big one. Take care and have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selection of things from GJ and his Mum Carol - they always send such good things. Mum hasn't ever seen an egret except in pictures or on TV.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

A few thousand landed in the tree in front of the house when they flew south. We still don't have snow yet. Thanks for being my friend!

ReplyDeleteWe are not in the least bit surprised at that wonderful parcel you received from GJ and his Mum - she is one of the kindest and most generous peeps we know - always thinking of others.
ReplyDeleteThat egret must have been cold - hope its wings don't need to be de-iced.
