Working and Way-Back Wednesday


Sei-Chan: It's grey and rainy today but we have been out in the run nonetheless as there are a lot of strange noises to be checked out. You see, we are having the roof of our house demossed, and broken tiles replaced, so there are two men up there!


I am not much of an outdoorsy girl but Tama-Chan tells me that the OWCB, Sen-Chan, was an amazing roofwalker and would probably have been right up there with them! Can you believe that?



Sweet Sen-Chan, now we like to think of you walking on rainbows...


We would like to send very special thoughts today to two friends, Ginger Jasper who is very ill and at the vet's, and Lucy, who suffered a nasty trauma a few days ago and remains very scared. We are purring that the treatment will help Jasper get better and want to eat again, and that Lucy will recover her joie de vivre very soon.

    They are brilliant photos of the escapologist! And yes, we are sure too that he's up there climbing on stars and sliding down rainbows.....

    Thank you for the lovely purrs - I am still hiding at the back of a shelf in mum's wardrobe. It is very, very windy (gales) here today and I am staying put. Mum keeps bringing me food - what a shame I am not up to doing roof walking today I could have snoopervised the roof men for you.

    We have rain here too, today. And are under a winter storm warning. We are doing our very best to keep Ms. C warm.

    We would be very worried if someone was working on our roof! Those noises would cause us to hide.

    Wow, look at Sen-Chan up there!!! We were busy today watching the roofers on the roof of the house behind us. They had to strip all the wood shingles off the old roof. Can you believe they were up there and the very high and steep roof was covered with snow? Mom said they were crazy to be doing that. Maybe they had Sen-Chan skills.

    We are very worried about Ginger Jasper and although we don't know Lucy, we read about her accident yesterday - so very sad.
