Forever Friday

It has been a while since we did a post about those we refer to as "The Rainbow Gang," our dear friends who lit up our lives and then left. So, in honour of the arrival of spring, we have decided to show them in green and natural settings!

IKKYU, the one who started it all, fierce and utterly devoted, lived in big cities most of his life. In Tokyo we were in a flat but he would occasionally take a stroll in the lovely garden, in a harness:

He liked to hang out there, in the bushes, watching the world go by and saying hello to his woofie friends, a Golden Retriever and an Afghan Hound!

SEN-CHAN was the only Poupounette member who had a free pass to the outside because he could always be trusted to come back as soon as he was called. He loved to go exploring, often leading Tommy and our then neighbour, Madrac, on adventures.

This is probably the most beautiful photo of him outside:

Just like Sen-Chan himself, it has a magical quality about it.

Last but not least is our YUU-CHAN. Even though it has now been six months since he went to the Bridge, we feel his absence so sharply each and every day. It is as though the hole he left will never be filled. Yuu-Chan loved everyone and everything, and although he never roamed the countryside like Sen-Chan, he loved to sit in the run:

We miss you all, our Forever Boys.

  11. We're sorry we didn't get to meet Ikkyu or Sen-Chan, although mum used to lurk before she had us and she did see him sometimes.
Yuu-Chan is the only boy we knew and he was such a gentle character.
#1 - we know you must miss them all so much just as our mum misses the ones who "came before".
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
