This morning, #1 and Tommy piled Sei-Chan and my Bibi into he car and drove over to Dr. C's for "the tests." After what happened to Yuu-Chan, we just had to make sure they were OK (I was tested twice myself after Sen-Chan went to the Bridge) and we are all of course vaccinated.
Anyway, so look at these beautiful photos:
Sei-Chan's
Bibi-Chan's
Two glorious negatives! They will be re-tested in a month or so, just to make absolutely sure, but they are both looking very healthy!
After the hard part was over, Sei-Chan decided she would be a decorative asset to the consulting room:
And Bibi explored...
We are all feeling very relieved, as you can imagine, and very thankful!
Of course, I would never dream of depriving you of pictures of me altogether, so here are a few for you:
Hanging out with Bibi...
And if any of you were wondering where The Bibi slept last night...
That is great news! We're keeping out paws crossed that the tests continue to come back negative!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful, fabulous, awesome news! We are so relieved for Sei-Chan and The Bibi! We are sending you lots and lots and lots of celebratory smooches!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are so relieved for #1 and you all that the test results were the best.
ReplyDeleteWe don't think #1 will be cold in bed this winter with Bibi taking good care of her!
Hurray! We are so glad that your re-tests came back negative! So much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely GREAT news!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for all of you, soo much to be thankful for!
Cheers,
Maxx
That is the bestest news :) We hope that every test will turn out negative:)
ReplyDeletethe amigos and san

PeeEssWoo: Hi Tommy!
That is very good news!!!
ReplyDeleteOh we are so happy for the good test results! That is such wonderful news! We know that you must all be so relieved right now - we know there is another test in a month, but we will keep our fingers and paws crossed the whole time, and we bet the results will be the same!
ReplyDeleteAnd we love all the pictures of course - they are adorable!
Excellent test results! Love the photos as always. And I would love it if Sei-chan were decorating my place!
ReplyDeleteSuch very good news! You have been on my minds lately, as my vet tech brain never seems to sleep when I am thinking of 'disease' and things that can affect catteries and multiple cat households.
ReplyDeleteI test all my cats every year but do not use the felv vaccine as it doesn't 'build' as strong immunity as say the rabies or fvrcp vaccines.
You are wise to retest, we usually do it at 3 and 6 months post exposure at the cat hospital where I work.
And not bring in any new cats for 1year (and I suppose that also means, do not expose them to any new cats for that time too...)
Is it at all possible that the exposure happened in the cat run--sniffing noses with another cat, sniffing cat spray from another cat?
I truly hope you do not have to go through this again, ever, but unless all the cats they were exposed to, were also undergoing the same test and retest protocol, one can't be sure and that is scary.
As always, seeing your 'golden' furs shining in the sun!
Great, great news!!! We breathed a big sigh of relief when we saw the reults.
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Niamh & Ambrose
We are thankful too. Stay well.
ReplyDeleteYAY! YAY! YAY!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love those red "negative" lines.
ANd the pictures are great. I always love the pictures.
such a good news! I'm very happy for all of you.
ReplyDeleteMom has been wanting to ask about the exposure of all of you to Yuu-Chan, assuming you were vaccinated but knowing it is not 100% effective. But she didn't have the heart to actually ask, so this is very good news. I will purr super hard for test results to continue to be negative on retesting. At least the first hurdle is past.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great as usual. Bibi, I go under the covers some, but I can't stay there for long. But over the weekend I had a lot of fun helping put fresh sheets on the bed. What a game it was!
Ahhhh, we all heard that big sigh of relief over here. Great news for all!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
We are happy! 13 tails up for continued negative tests! Mommy feels a little silly, at first she thought it was a *pregnancy* test!!! She's not saying who for.
ReplyDeleteBibi, how can you breathe under there? We all sleep on top of the covers and pin Mommy in one spot.
Hooray for the great test results - I hope they stay that way next time too!
ReplyDeleteI hate going to the vet... but I can't resist doing a little exploring once I am there too.
GREAT NEWS! I am doing the happy dance all over the place....
ReplyDeleteHOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo news better than that kids!

ReplyDeleteps: Just kidding about the study party, ha, ha, ha.
I am SOOOO glad, Tama-Chan, that the three of you are negative for those evil diseases. Any idea how Yuu-Chan acquired it? I am also glad your #1 is having you retested soon, too. Better safe!
ReplyDeleteBeing negative is good in this case.
ReplyDeleteOh that is good news!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm looking forward to pretty and healthy babies. o((=゚ェ^=))o ♪
