Tom: As Bibi-Chan said yesterday, it has been quite a week for us, and things are not slowing down any! Yesterday, #1 received her brand-new Mac Book Pro and she hasn't even yet had time to migrate the files from her iMac! Why is it so crazy? I'll let you in on a little secret. #1 is girding her loins to abandon us one week from now. She is flying across the Atlantic to lead the French (!) delegation to the World Percheron Congress in Des Moines, Iowa. We have (new) house-sitters arriving on Wednesday next week and there are a million things to be done!
Anyway, what better way to take a rest from all this madness than to look at a couple of photos of my flying ears?!
And here are some Tama-Bats:
Some Bibi-Bats:
And some Sei-Bats!
HEY!!!! Mr. Floppy Ears!!!! Can I be a Frootbat too?
Sure, Vidock! Why not?
Love the pix! Sounds like your #1 is going to have quite a trip! We hope it's both interesting and fun!

ReplyDeleteGoodness, what a lot of fantastic ears!
ReplyDeleteVidock it's good to see you joining in the with batty cats and batty dog - a good effort for your first frootbat shoot.

Life at your house is surely anything but boring! We hope with all this going on #1 still finds time to unwind a little bit. But it's good and exciting stuff too, so we guess she's glad for it to happen. We think it's so cool you have so much going on. Will Vidock become all black eventually?
ReplyDeleteMany purrs from rainy Cologne,
Siena & Chilli
Macbook Pro! Wow! ::sigh:: Mom has a regular, plain, small, old MacBook. She'd like a new, shiny, big, NEW one! ::sigh::
ReplyDeleteYou Poupounette-Bats are all funny-you, too, Vidock!
And, IOWA! That's practically all the way to Texas! Woot!
Great Froot-bats!!! And congrats on the new Mac Book Pro - that's what we have and we absolutely LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteDes Moines??? Too bad Mom has kidlets to watch all week - that is not too far from us. Safe travels and enjoy.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Excellent froots! The Woman showed off Vidock to her horsy friend and she LOVED him!
ReplyDeleteAll of you have the best ears! #1 needs three of her to get everything done lately...you all must insist she sit with you and snuggle a little.
ReplyDeletepee ess: we see you have your Cat flap taped in the up position...MOL!
ReplyDeleteOur day wouldn't be complete without seeing Tommy's flying ears and your frootbats!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to #1!! That's very exciting!!
So cute! Hope #1 has a safe trip to the US. :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys have more ears per square inch than the regular family! My human has a Macbook Pro (the smaller one - the 17" wouldn't fit in her fancy laptop bag), and she loves it. If #1 uses a firewire, it shouldn't take too long to get everything moved over. I hope she has a GREAT trip!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice bunch of ears you have. Plus you're developing quite an assortment, what with the new arrival. It's most impressive that #1 is LEADING the French delegation. Des Moine is so close - as in this side of the Atlantic - yet so far away. I hope she has a wonderful time and that you are happy with your new sitters.
ReplyDeletelotsa licks, Lola
Sounds like your #1 is rather important! And I'm sure you guys will be able to run rings around your sitters!
