Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Greetings, Dear Friends, and welcome to Sunggles on Sunday. I must say that, lately, those two boys, Benny and Momo, have become the snuggle stars at Poupounette Central, so I thought I would start with them today:

I have of course been snuggling with #1 myself.

Genji's Blue Throw Souvenir Saturday

 

Rainbow Genji: Meows, Everyone! Your old pal Da Genj here! I can't believe that it's been more than a year since I left Poupounette Central. It's fun to be with all the Rainbow Gang, but I confess that I miss snuggling with #1, and I suspect she feels the same way.

Anymeow, little Momo mentioned yesterday that the blue Peggy's Blankie was a favourite of mine, so I thought I would share some photos of me relaxing on it:

Fluffy Friday

 

Momo-Chan: Tiny Meows, People! It's me, Momo, again! I hope you don't mind seeing me two days in a row. #1 keeps telling me that I am the fluffiest kitty she has ever known! My coat is so soft and silky, she says. And I have a beautiful tail. Of course, I am nowhere near in the class of a certain Simon, over at Brian's Home, but it's coming along nicely, and I thought I would share a few pics with you.

In this first one, you get my tongue as a bonus!

I like to sleep on this throw. #1 says it is a Peggy's Blankie, and it was a favourite of TOWCB, Genji! She is pleased that I like it too. It's very soft and comfy!

Thankful Thursday

 

Momo-Chan: Tiny Meows, Peoples! Momo here! #1 said this was the day to be thankful and I wanted to say how thankful I am for my big bro, Benny!

And I am also thankful for Queen Tama who lets me hang out with her without hissing at me!

And I am thankful that yesterday, #1 brought me back news of my "in the blood" bro! He lives with one of the vet techs from Dr. C's practice, and she called him Tokyo! We're going to see if we can get a photo of him.

Womanly Wednesday Whinnies

 

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! Given that the boys get their weekly  manly post each and every week, Heloise and I decided to hijack today's post to tell you more about our adventures this past week with Mr. T. We had so much fun with him!

On Saturday, Ms. C and Mr. T decided to take me and The Big V for a ride. It was hot but #1 had found the nicest place with trees and shade, and so we headed off there. #1 said I looked so pretty! At first, it was Ms. C who rode me:

#1 had put that beautiful Platinum Jubilee horse brass on my bridle!

It was fun zigzagging around the trees with The Big V!

And then they swapped horses, and Mr. T rode me.

The place where we were is right next to the now disused local train station, so we took a souvenir photo before heading home!

Heloise: I also got to do all kinds of fun stuff with Mr. T! He became the first ever person to sit on my back!

Notice the stuff around my neck? They are beginning to prepare me to take part in an amazing Japanese festival in September (The Vs will also take part) and the decorations we will be wearing have lots of bells on them, so they are getting me used to the sound, and also to having stuff on my back.

We are all pretty excited about this. Lots of people will be coming from Japan!

Tama's Terrific Birthday Celebration Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello Dear Friends, and welcome to a very special Tama-Chan Tuesday post. Today is my 14th birthday! I don't know where the years have gone. Do you? I was lucky to come and live at Poupounette Central when I was still a very little girl. Here are a couple of photos taken when #1 first met me:

I was so lucky to have Tommy as my best friend for many years:

Many of you know about my boy, Da Beebs. But I also had a little girl whose name was Ehime. She went to a nice couple but we never heard from them afterwards. I hope she is doing well:

Because I am The Queen here, one day, #1 put this fabulous diamond and platinum necklace on me!

And yes, my boy, Bibi, stayed with us. I am sad that he left soon after Tommy, back in 2019.

There have been so many lovely portraits over the years.

I started my dangling career about five years ago:

I always enjoy sitting out in the cat run:

#1 says I have really mellowed with age. I love to pur with her, sit with her, and snuggle with her.

And I know how to relax:

The arrival of that little Benny last year was a shock. Genji was such a gentle soul and this one is a real ruffian, but the addition of little Momo to the family recently has diverted his attention away from me, and life is much more peaceful again!

I love my life. #1 says that I am entering my golden years, but I have always been golden, so what's new?

I am planning to be around to help her with her work and with the blog for a long time to come!

#1 here. Sweet Tama, you are the soul and the memory of this blog, and my treasure. Your presence in my life makes every day brighter and fuller. I wish you Many, Many Happy Returns of this day, with all my love, as well as naughty miaows from Benny and Momo, gentle woofs from Ollie, and soft neighs from Vidock, Violette, Hotesse and Heloise.

Manly Monday

 

Momo-Chan: #1 said I could lead off today's post, even though I am still an itty-bitty kitten. Ism't that cool? I don't have a lot to report other than that I am growing well and I love a good joke!

And I love my big bro, Benny. Can you see his tongue in the photo?

Benny: I enjoy doing all kinds of stuff with my little bro.

Ollie: Here I am, asking Mr. T if he has a treat for me.

And I made a new friend! Her name is Opale.

Vidock: Handsome Neighs, EveryFriend! Well, that was a busy week last week. I did so much stuff with Mr. T, starting with logging practice. This is a really difficult one, where you have to put your feet on both sides of the log to make it go backwards:

And we went for rides together!
