Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: I can't believe it is already the second half of July. 2019 has been so crazy so far we really need a little peace and quiet around here. But #1 is a little worried as Genji is a little off his food. We are crossing paws, fingers and hooves that it's just a passing thing. He had lost a little weight when he went to the vet for his shots last week, so we need to keep an eye on him.

I, on the other paw, do not appear to have any problems related to losing weight... Still, I am sure I lost a bit the other day when #1 sat down to give me my first good brushing in a while, You should have seen the hair!

I have been keeping a close eye on #1's online activity, just in case she gets any ideas about going anywhere...

It's also nice to spend some time in the cat run. #1 says that my eyes are the same colour as the green surrounding me!

And there is my regular naptime on the sofa:

Let's hope that things stay quiet for a while.

Manly Monday

Genji: Something really fun happened! With #1's help, I discovered a half brother of mine! I didn't even know he existed! We had the same Mama, Bastet, but different Dads. His name is Djibouti (Djibuti des Rêves d'Aton. I am Genji des Rêves d'Aton) and he is three years older than me. Look at him!

Don't you think we look really alike? Here is a photo of me that #1 took a few days ago:

Oh, and before I forget... My vet visit the other day went OK. I got my shots. I had lost a bit of weight but Dr. C thinks it's probably just a combination of the heatwave we had and #1 being away so much. I am eating fine, so I will hopefully put the weight back on. Here is a shot of me getting my jab:

Ollie: Yesterday, I went with #1 to a driving (with horses) competition and there were lots of woofies there. She  kept me on a lead because she is not 100% sure I can be trusted yet, but I still had a ball. I met a huge and fabulous guy. He is a Leonberg!

As you can see, I actually fitted under him!

I was a really good boy about hanging with #1 and watching the horses:

The Big V: Just hangin' out with my V girls, Violette and Victoria...

Wishing you all a good week!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: It's nice to be back to a proper SoS post, with #1 not having any plans to go away for a number of weeks! Now, we can kick back and enjoy the summer.

I have continued to be exceptionally snuggly with #1:

This is what happens when she sits at her laptop downstairs:

Now I am not sure how well you can see this, but it is in fact a pic of #1 covering my tummy with kisses!

Genji is still being Genji:

He and Ollie snuggle with #1 together in the mornings:

Ollie is a major snuggler:

Our friend Ms. S came over the other day, and spent some time brushing and snuggling with Ollie, as I and Da Genj looked on:

Friday evening, #1 went over to Mr. G's parents' home. Their Tora-Chan (aka Toto) is the same age as our Beebs was and we are pretty sure they  were related. Tora-Chan is really snuggly and #1 had a great time with him!

And we even have snuggle pics with the Vs! First Vidock:

And Miss Violette!

Happy Snuggling, everyone!

Sei-Chan's Souvenir Saturday

Rainbow Sei: Its been a while, Dear Friends. We have been very busy at this end, keeping #1 safe and it was a big job this time, with what happened to her car. It could have been terrible but we were all there and made sure she was safe, and inconvenienced as little as possible.

Today's photos are in no particular order and follow no particular theme. I thought I would start with this nice one of me, Tommy and "the ball":

And here is a nice Beebsy portrait in the sun:

Our Beebs isn't quite settled in yet, but we are all working hard to make him feel better. He just misses #1 (and vice-versa, I suspect)...

Here is one of me doing a double upward dangle:

I do miss that hammock!

Here is Ikkyu, way back in 2003, helping #1 with her work (on her old iMac!):

Here is Tommy at 8 months, the same age that Ollie is now!

A wonderful, summer shot of Sen-Chan:

Yuu-Chan when he was still a little kit:

And one of Trav, enjoying a snooze.

Oh, and before I forget, I have to tell you... there is a new girl in town and boy,  is she wonderful! Her name is Binga and she is teaching me all kinds of things... She says it's no good being shy, the way I was...

Family Friday

Tama-Chan: One of the thing we are realising is that, with fewer of us, we are having to take on more posts individually, which is how I come to be hosting this one today.

After all the upheavals we have had, including #1 being away so much in June and early July, we are settling back into a routine and learning to be a smaller family. Here I am, yesterday afternoon, snoozing with the blye boy:

On a different day:

And when Da Genj had to go for his annual check-up and shots on Thursday, Ollie went with him for moral support. That's what families do, right?

#1 hasn't yet been able to go and see the Vs but she is planning in it tomorrow, so we should have some fresh photos of them.

Thankful Thursday

Genji: Actually, I am not so sure I should be thankful as I am going to the vet this morning for my annual check-up and boosters... Still, I have been trying to think of other things such as how thankful I am that #1 is home:

Queen Tama is over the moon that #1 is back, and she has been relaxing:

As for Ollie, he is sticking pretty close to #1 and thankful for the fan in the study! It must be warm under all those curls!

Woofie Wednesday

Ollie: Woofs everybody! Ollie here! I am back home after two super weeks at camp. I just had the best time and want to say a big thank you to Ms. A and Mr. R for having me. The best part was playing non-stop with my distant cousin, Georgie. The three older ladies (Sophie, Elise and Lydia - Tommy's sisters) were nice too but they did not like to play and admire me the way Georgie did.

Here I am, being a good boy at the restaurant where #1, Ms. A and Mr. R had lunch:

Me with Ms. A:

Back home and sleeping at the foot of #1's desk:

Did I ever properly show you my curls? I was covered with them but now they are just down my back. #1 is wondering whether they were puppy hair...

And here I am out in the field yesterday evening. They have cut the hay so it's easier to get around.

I had a wonderful timerbut it is great to be home with #1, my buddy Genji and Queen Tama. #1 says we will visit Georgie again in August!
