Stylish Saturday

Our friend, Mr. G, has gone off to look after a Boxer woofie girl for a week. He stopped over to drop something off on his way, and we all LOVED his T-Shirt!

Come back soon, Mr. G! We'll miss you!

We also wanted to share something lovely #1 saw whilst in England. An old friend of hers, Ms. N, had always been "a dog person" until a close friend died of cancer and asked her to look after her cat, Hector, who was just five at the time. Ms. N agreed and, as you all suspect, she fell in love. She and Mr. M loved having Hector in their lives for many years until he went to the Bridge a few months ago, aged almost 19. Ms. N was devastated at the loss of Hector and plans to bring another kitty home at the first opportunity. But just look at the beautiful portrait of Hector to remember him by:

And Hector's ashes are now home in a mini-Hector container!

  1. thanks for sharing this sweet story of Hector, I am so happy she could adopt him, it is heartbreaking when the human passes on before the pet. Mr. G looks really handsome in that shirt.

  11. This is Daphne, humbly asking to be able to post in this fine blog though I'm allergic to cats and don't know any personally. I was lucky enough to meet Ms N and #1 almost 50 years ago at University and I later met Hector soon after he came to live with Ms N. He was a fine fellow though a tad privileged if he felt it might be time for dinner....and dinner had not appeared! His accusatory stare was motivating! He was so lucky to have had two # 1s who loved him so much. 💜🇨🇦
