Woofie Wednesday

Ollie: Woof woof WOOF! Ollie here! This has been such an exciting time for me! I just LOVE my new kitten bro, Benny! #1 told me (and is still telling me...) that he is just a little guy so I need to be gentle with him until he gets used to me. I am trying REALLY hard!

Look! Here he comes!

Gentle. She said to be gentle...

He's coming closer!

You should see that boy play. #1 says it's been 10 years since she had a kitten and she has forgotten just how boisterous they can be. Benny is still pretty congested at the nose end, so Dr. C to;d her to continue the antibiotics for 4-5 more days. I hope they work quickly. In the meantime, I am watching over him as he sleeps.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: So, you all went googoo gaga over the little pipsqueak?! OK, OK... #1 did ask my permission and I said yes but still... I need to make sure he really does understand that I am the Queen around here. I have to say though, I feel a little sorry for the little guy because Ollie is totally obsessed with him and won't leave him alone. And he is clearly a brave boy. He has not yet hidden! He is discovering the house a bit at a time because it's quite big. And he is still sleeping in his own roomsuntil he is 100% comfortable with the rest of us.

Here is the first picture of all three of us. #1 put a harness on him the first couple of times he came downstairs.

Mercifully, I am still able to relax and dangle in my usual places.

In homage to that Beebsy boy of mine, I also spent a little tim in the dryer the other day:

We are having some lovely weather at the moment, so I am looking forward to some window whiffie time.

Mancat Monday!!!! Introducing...

BENKEI!

弁慶

aka Benny

Mee-Yow Everyone! I am so pleased to met you all! Please call me Benny, although I am named for Benkei, Japan's famous warrior monk. He was very brave and so am I! He also wore the greatest pompoms so he must have liked cats!

I should tell you a little about myself. I was born not far from Poupounette Central, in a house that has lots of cats and vast grounds. All of us are well fed and vaccinated, but that's about it. The people told #1 that they had a five month black boy who needed a home. She came to see me, fell in love with me and took me home a week ago! I had a terrible infection in my ears which is why I had to go into Catantine in the guest bathroom. We went to see Dr. C on Monday. She cleaned out my ears, tested me for FIV/FeLV (negative on both counts) and told #1 that I also had a little cold. So, we came home with antibiotics (6 days) and ear ointment (3 weeks). #1 arranged the bathroom wth a nice comfy beddie, litter box, big cat tree and lots of toys. I could even look outside from the top of the cat tree!

This is me the day I arrived:

I LOVE TO EAT!

Here I am on top of the cat tree:

And I love to play!

#1 says I am so good about taking my meds and getting the ear ointment. In fact, she says I am a wonderful boy all around. A few days ago I had visitors! I met some really nice people called Mr. G and Ms. N. Do you know them?

Did I mention that I love cuddles?

And you know the most exciting thing? I have my very own woofie! His name is Ollie and he is great!

And there is a beautiful lady. Apparently, she is a queen! Queen Tama! She gave me a little welcome kiss!

I almost forgot to mention the most important thing! I love my #1! I purr and purr and purr when she holds me!

I am looking forward to sharing my adventures with all of you! I hope you will all be my friends!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: It has been rather a good week for snuggles, Dear Friends. I have been snuggling with #1 in the evenings:

And Mr. G took this rather cute pic of us snuggling:

And he also took a couple of cute pics of #1 snuggling with Ollie:

I of course also snuggled with Ms. N and Mr. G!

We don't have any new horsey snuggle pics this week, but here are a couple of #1 with Violette and Heloise, left over from last week:

Last but not least, you have all been very patient with our closed door, as I have, Dear Friends. #1 tells me that the mystery will be revealed to me today and to all of you tomorrow, so don't forget it to tune in to our Monday post!

Tommy's Souvenir Saturday

Rainbow Tommy: Sei-Chan suggested that it might be nice for us to do individual posts from time to time, so here I am to kick that off. I thought I would share a bunch of sporting photos of me. What do you think?

When I was quite young, I just loved playing with the Frisbee:

Sticks were of course very important. This picture was taken when I went to England with #1:

One can never have too many balls!

Flying Ears:

I miss playing with #1 and I think she misses endlessly throwing me the ball. Ollie isn't really a ball guy. I guess its good that we're different, though, right?

I shall leave you with this action shot of me:

Oh, and I almost forgot. Last autumn, #1 planted hyacinth bulbs around our graves. They are blooming beautifully and I wanted to show you. The first pic is my and Beebs' graves, and the second is Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan:

Family Friday

Ollie: Mr. G and Ms. N came to visit yesterday afternoon, and they disappeared behind the closed door! #1 has told me that, if I am a good boy, I will get to see what's behind the door today. I can't wait!

In the meantime, Mr. G took some nice pics of me and Tama:

Thoughtful Thursday

Tama-Chan: The weather has been so lovely, Dear Friends. It got warm enough for #1 to open the window in the kitchen yesterday so I could enjoy some window whiffies.

I have been thinking about that closed door... I am feeling quite peaceful about life in general, and whatever lies behind the door is going to be a good thing. I am sure of it!

Wednseday Whinnies

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! After not being able to come and see us for a while, #1 did get over on Saturday, and she is coming again today! We love it when she comes because we get brushies and treat buckets!

Anyneigh, I wanted to tell you a little bit about my talk with the animal communicator! I was very surprised when I heard this voice and the nice lady told me she was calling me on behalf of #1. I told her that I adore #1 and wish I could spend all my time with her, just the two of us, but I realise I have to share her. I also told her that I love more than everything when she makes me all pretty and takes me out to show me to people. So, when the lady told #1 this, she said she would spend more time making me beautiful!

I have a few photos to share from #1's visit last weekend. Here I am with my boyfriend, Anatole, my sis, Heloise, and my Mama, Hotesse in the back:

Here is a profile shot of me:

#1 with the three of us girls. Notice it's ME she is holding💜!

And in case you were wondering about him, here is The Big V with his beloved, Aral:

Before I go, I have one more photo to show you. The other day, we were just hanging around when we saw the most amazing sight!

Would you just look at that itty-bitty little thing? He is so cute, isn't he?

#1 asked me to please ask you to bear with her. She realises we are not commenting as much as we would like to, but there's a lot going on at Poupounette Central at the moment...
