Violette: Pretty neighs, everyone! It's me again. I wanted to share with you my wonderful day at the big Percheron festival on Wednesday. As you know, I took part with my boyfriend, Charme, and we had a really great day!
#1 had brought along some nice hay for us to snack on:
We took part in a parade that commemorated the end of the First World war, so I was all dressed up for that, as was #1.
The tableau was women coming in from the fields at the end of a hard day's work. Ms.C rode me, but sitting sideways as they used to do back then.
We are still waiting for friends to send us some pics of us in he actual parade. But a friend sent us this one, which was the final parade of the day. #1 had changed back into her regular clothes and put my fancy headcollar and my jewellery on me!
Both Charme and I had a great time. We are very grateful to #1 and Ms. C for taking us there!
oh I bet you were the eyecatchers at that pawrade... and what a wonderful idea to honor the women of that time who had to do all the work while their husbands had to fight for their country...
