Sei-Chan's Arty Rainbow Saturday

Sei-Chan: Rainbow Purrs, Everyone! I know that, for many people, today is Art Saturday, so I thought we might do a variant on that for this post. You see, #1 actually has paintings of three of the Rainbow boys, Ikkyu, Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan. As for me, there are of course those wonderful photos the professional photographer from Japan, Mr. O, took, so let me share them with you today.

#1's first Aby, Ikkyu, actually had his first portrait painted by Ms.C  whilst he was alive. Here is a pic of him with his upside-down portrait!

And here is the actual portrait, properly framed (by #1) and hanging on the wall in the living room:

Also before Ikkyu went to the Bridge, another friend, Ms. Z, who is a professional painter, made an amazing portrait of Ikkyu for #1 as a Christmas present one year:

Here it is on the wall, on the landing at Poupounette Central:

Some of you will remember Kathleen Coy, the wonderful animal portraitist who had a great dog named Cloud. #1 asked her to do portraits of Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan for her, and they now hang on her bedroom wall:

That's Yuu-Chan on the left and Sen-Chan on the right.

I of course have not (yet) been immortalised in oils, so here is one of the lovely photographic portraits of me by Hiroaki Ota:

I hope you have enjoyed this post of us in art. Have a great weekend, everyone!

  2. Oh Sei! What a wonderful photo of you! The lighting is just gorgeous, as is the subject. The photographer is certainly a true artist.
If Kathleen Coy were to do your portrait, we think she should capture you with the delightful, captivating and totally inscrutable expression that is so unique to you.
    Miss you sweetheart.
