Wednesday Whinnies With Violette


Violette: #1's knee is getting better, but it isn't yet well enough for her to be doing any kind of work with me, so her visits to me have been mainly about brushing me, taking care of some of the itchy spots I have because of horrible biting insects, and giving me yummy treats. I confess that that is not unpleasant at all!

 

 

 

We did go for a little walk. It was mainly Ms. C who led me:

    We agree that getting treats and scritches and brushings makes you feel great. We love that too :)

    Oh Violette! I have been your friend since you became a member of the Poupounette! You are beautiful as ever and even through the years I have wished so much for something to help with the insect problem. How annoying and painful and itchy.

    You. Are such a beautiful, sweet girl dear Violette. We’re so sorry the bugs are such a bother. Our mum went to the cemetery to visit her dad and mum’s graves andshe passed two beautiful horses wearing those fly masks. The owner said the weather has contributed to the number of bugs. He said that spray alone didn’t work. Things seem to be bad all over, dear.

      I do have a fly mask for Violette but the problem is that the horses make a game of tearing the masks off each others' faces!
