Tom: So, we went back to see Dr. C yesterday as there was that one spot on my scar that wasn't healing well. It turned out that one of the internal stitches had not dissolved and was itching and irritating me. So, Dr. C removed it and I am back on antibiotics (Clindamycine this time) for at least another week to clear everything up. I am still wearing the cone when unsupervised, but the need for it should abate now that there is no longer any source of itching.
Last night we were invited to dinner at our friend, Ms. L's, and I spent some time with my buddy Marcel:
#1's knee is getting better but we are still not venturing out of the garden:
She managed to get this rather cool "Tongue on Thursday" shot yesterday!
Here is a shot I forgot to post last week. #1 and I stopped at the museum where they had the big Percheron festival last August, and one of the ladies was so nice and played with me!
#1 says I am really good at getting people to play with me!
I am sure they all really enjoy it!
Nothing brings the kid out of a human more than a delightful dog to play with, Tommy!
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope that is the end of it and that you will soon be fully functional with no more cone.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
We hope you've stopped itching now the vet's removed that stitch Tommy so you can get outside with #1 again and have fun.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

We hope this is the end of your horrible ordeal, Tommy! Sending purrs to your ouchie.
ReplyDeletePee Ess - great tongue pic!

At least there's a light at the end of the tunnel for that sore spot, Tommy! I hope the same can be said for #1's knee soon.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a nice woofie that people want to play with you. Mum would.
ReplyDeletePoor Tommy! We hope your issues clear up real soon so you won't have to wear that cone any longer.
