Sei-Chan: Well, Dear Friends, we have our work cut out for us this weekend! It has finally turned rather cool and so #1 decided to switch our central heating on yesterday but.... it wouldn't... Our long-time plumber recently retired so there was a major scramble to find another who was willing to come out now, but she did. Except that one of the circulators needs changing and this cannot be done before Monday morning. So, it is up to us to keep her warm until then!
I have been pondering the issue:
And have given everyone detailed instructions
The boys in particular have been entrusted with keeping her warm in bed!
And I shall of course be doing my bit:
It rained a lot yesterday and the forecast is not that great for the coming days, but #1 did get a nice sunpuddle picture of me earlier this week:
In other news, I am happy to report that both Tommy's wound and #1's knee seem to be doing better! Paws crossed!
Paws crossed for Tommy! And for getting the heat thing fixed - humans are woefully lacking in fur and need it (okay, and we kitties kind of like it too).
ReplyDeleteWe are glad Tommy and #1 are improving. Thank goodness you are able to organise them Sei-Chan. It is cold and dank here today too but we tried the heating out a couple of nights ago and it is OK fortunately. BTW Mum is always cold unless we sit on her.

Oh I am so glad about #1's knee and Tommy!!! And you all work hard to keep #1 (and yourselves) warm. xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that both Tommy wound and #1 knee is doing better !
ReplyDeleteKeep my paws crosed that the plumber really is coming back om monday !!
XOXO
It's so good to hear that #1's knee and Tommy are both doing better. We hope your heat can be fixed soon. Until then, it sounds like a good time for snuggling.
ReplyDeleteSure glad to hear that everyone is healing up so well. Great pictures Sei. Hope all of you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWhen the heat is off, it's nice to have some fuzzy bodies to cuddle with. Keep warm, everybody!
ReplyDeleteWe agree cuddling in #1 bed is the plan

Yes I think a bit of a big cuddle pile should keep you all warm! Good luck-
ReplyDeleteAnd I am glad to hear that the assorted health problems seem to be getting sorted out- I mean a cat can only do so much right?
ReplyDeleteYay for Tommy and #1's knee getting better!
ReplyDeleteBoo for ho heat!
That does, however, mean it is purrfect for snuggling ;)

Better to find out the furnace isn't working now than have it break down in the middle of winter. Glad to hear #1 and Tommy are doing better.

We think you're all up to the challenge to keep #1 warm! And that's good news about Tommy.
ReplyDeleteWe have no doubt you will make sure #1 stays snuggly warm. We're glad Tommy is doing better. You look very pretty in the picture of you in the sun puddle.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have everything in control Tama. We are very impressed.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr.... Stay warm!

You are a gorgeous cat! And I know that all of you will do a great job of keeping #1 warm until the furnace is fixed. Glad to hear the good health news!
