SEIturday!

Sei-Chan: Sorry to be a little late in posting today. We had friends to dinner last night and ended up sleeping in this morning. We are very good that way, just sleeping with #1 until she gets up, rather than insisting on the same time each day.

We had really nice weather all week, giving plenty of opportunity for sunpuddle furtanning:

Even though he can be a bit of a rascal, sometimes it's fun to lizard-watch with young Genji:

I have also done further work on the dangle and have developed a "sports" version:

Or should it be called the "Pre-Whap" version?!

I think I need to ponder on that a while...

Today, we would also like to pay our respects to a very lovely lady who ran off to the Bridge this week.  Each summer, our #1 enjoyed visiting the sweet BITZ in Prince Edward Island. She was a mature lady and very lovely. She became very suddenly and desperately ill, and nothing could be done to save her. She is now running like a kitten at the Bridge, reunited with her pal Fitzroy (FITZ).

Getting a cuddle from her #1, Ms. J:

Run Free, Sweet Girl.

Wishing you all a very lovely SEIturday!

  1. It's good to see you enjoying sun puddles and we are glad that the weather allows for that. But we are sorry about the sad news about your good friend BITZ. However like you , we know she is running like a kitten and enjoying herself at the bridge. Have a good weekend.

  7. Sei-Chan we like your pre-whap version but if you practice well #1 may take you trout tickling in the stream. Think about catching your very own dinner. Nom, nom, nom.

  8. First and foremost, we would like to wish #1 and Tommy an EXTREMELY belated Happy Birthday!!!

(Mommy took an impromtu vacation this week and was a sloth.)

Secondly, we are thrilled that Vidock has been ridden by #1 and that Violette is FAMOUS!

Thirdly, Miss Sei you are gorgeous as usual, even with that threatening dangle!

  11. We are like you kitties - we sleep in with my human and don't wake her up at any certain time... because here, we have learned it is useless! Purrs to Bitz's human. It is always a very sad time when a kitty and human part ways in this lifetime.
