Tom: I am not absolutely sure that the Chans will be feeling as thankful as I am this Thursday and through the weekend, as #1 and I are heading up to Normandy today, until Sunday, to look after my family. Not that they will be abandoned. Ms. S. is going to be taking extremely good care of them. And #1 has completed construction of an "air-lock" on our porch so that even if Da Beebs gets out of the front door, he will not be able to go beyond the porch. All paws crossed that the "Beebster Keeper" works.
Da Beebs is not at all sure he likes this development...
We are thankful because we had a wonderful guest visiting us from New York last weekend. Those of you with woofie blogs or who have been blogging for a long time may remember our friend Petey, the Cairn terrier who divides his life between Manhattan and Hilton Head, and who had an Aby brother by the name of Micah. Anyway, their Mom Jane has visited us several times, and she was back this past weekend!
She got to snuggle with Me!

Bibi will have to come up with a new trick! I bet at this point, the Chans want to figure out a way to tie #1's feet down, although I bet she and Tommy will be having a great time in Normandy.

Uh oh, Bibi is not going to be happy about the Beebster Keeper.
ReplyDeleteThat is some Beeber Keeper! He will have to be a very wily guy to escape now. I hope #1 will have a great trip and the Chans will not miss her too terribly!
ReplyDeleteUh , Oh Bibi! It looks like you are screwed! Did we say that?!! Heeheehee!
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip #1 and Tommy , to Normandy the land of LP's ancestors :)
the critters in the cottage xo
Our mom thinks every home should have a Beebster Keeper, because lots of kitties attempt a door dash at least once. Tommy, we hope you and #1 have a great trip, and we hope the Beebster does not pull a Houbibi and escape the Beebster Keeper.
ReplyDeletewhat a great visitor and thank goodness the Beebs has another enclosure to try to keep him INSIDE!!
ReplyDeleteWe know the Beebs is not happy that his escape route has been changed.
ReplyDeleteThat little taste of freedom is going to test the 'Beebster Keeper' to the max.
