#1 here. Houbibi managed to get out around 9:30 this morning. As of this writing at 3pm, he has not yet been caught. My last sighting of him was a little before 2pm, at which point he was relaxing on the grass, next to the hedge, but I could not get close. We will post once he is safely home. In the meantime, we would appreciate purrs for his safe return.
6:50pm: THE BEEBS IS HOME! I had left the door to the back room open (it's the only room in the house with a lockable door to the outside) and he walked in about 10 minutes ago. He has had a whole, very large slice of ham! Thanks for all the purrs!
Oh, Beebs, do come back NOW!!!
ReplyDeleteBEEBS! You're worrying a lot of humans, dood! Pleeez come back from your safari, 'k? We know #1 will have loads of noms and stuff for you upon your safe return! (And it'll make her feel loads better - us too!)

We read your post earlier in the day and began our prayers for Beebs safe return.
ReplyDeleteHurrah! He's home!!!! We couldn't bear to look back and possibly find he was still missing. So, a few extra hours of prayers never hurt.
Do you think running away is Beeb' s way of letting you know how upset he was when you left him behind?
