Thankful Thursday... or not?

#1 here. We are thankful that Vidock found his missing ear!

We are thankful for yesterday's beautiful sunset!

Sadly, Fernant's owner is not at all thankful for the training that his dog received and has undone all the good work in a few days. As a result, Fernant barrelled into Tommy again the evening before last and Tommy started to limp once more. He is back on anti-inflammatories for a few days and we are crossing paws that it's just the shock of the impact and not something more serious.

The world seems full of people who consider their pride more important than the well-being of others. Fernant's owner (the male half...) thinks the training is an insult to his own ability to train his dog. The possibility that he has no such ability has not even occurred to him...

  1. Hi Tommy

We hope you will be well enough to run soon as we know how sad you were when you couldn't fly after your frisbee :(( Rest them knees well. We agree that sometimes some pepole seem to have no sense at all!

  2. Seems like Fernant should not be a welcome visitor any more, for Tom's sake.

    What a very beautiful sunset!

  3. Reminds you of the sage adage 'there are no problem dogs - just problem owners' Luckily we don't fall into that category!!! I'm very sorry to hear Tom is lame again. How long must he rest? Poor boy.

  4. Vidock we are pleased to see you found your other ear - now you look perfectlyt balanced!
Oh poor Tommy we hope your anti inflammatories soon make you feel better again. Fernant's male owner sounds as though he is a "thinks he knows best" man. What a shame Fernant has him as an example!

  5. Whew, we are so relieved that Vidock found his other ear, that way he will have much better radar control.

Poor Tommy, and such a foolish owner. We will cross our paws for Tommy to be well again soon. We also hope Fernant is kept away until his manners improve.

  9. That is too bad about Fernant - we kitties pretty much call our own shots and what you see is what you get, but dogs are really made by their owners. I don't think enough dog owners really grasp the true meaning of that.

  18. Oh goodness! What is wrong with that man! Man?.....we've answered our own question, haven't we. Very upsetting that our Tommy is made to suffer for an overblown case of male ego. And little Frenant will suffer too since , without training, Fernant will be an unwelcome guest. What to do, what to do? Tom will be in our prayers, that's for sure. Please kiss him for us. And Fernant too.
