Other than yesterday, the weather hasn't been great recently but I have still been spending time out in the run:
Last week, on a day the weather was OK, #1 did take this rather idyllic picture of me:
I do love all that greenery. It is so soothing!
I also have fresh news of my other two boys via #1! You remember that, other than Bibi who never left, there was also Gogo and Fuku who went to live with Uncle U. They have been looked after by their father, Boubou, which is a good thing for little boy cats. Here they are in their outdoor run yesterday:
I must say I am quite pleased with how they are turning out. #1 says they recognised her and purred and cuddled with her!
Here is a close-up of my GoGo-Chan:
I suspect that little boy will go far...
And here is my Fuku-Chan, once the runt of the litter!
In closing, #1 has a question for our dear readers. Does anyone know what this bug is? She took the photo in the field this morning as she found it so gorgeous, but she hasn't been able to identify it in her bug book yet.
Your boys are growing up to be so handsome! You must be so proud...
ReplyDeleteP.S. I wish I was that branch that you're smooching in the first photo.

ReplyDeleteThe bug is a Adscita statices moth. If you google there is lots of information on them. Apparently they are rarely seen, so a lucky spot.

As for the insect, I don't know, but Mom said she will look through a couple of books she has...maybe she'll find it somewhere...it looks very small...how big would you say it was?....1cm? or less? or more?
