So, the safest place to be at the moment is this:
I do have something else to tell you about. This happened a few days ago and it was when I was in the run with Sei-Chan. We are not telling #1 anything other than that it was a joint effort:
We were expecting lavish praise but, for some reason, she was not at all happy about this. Sigh....
We're a bit short of new photos of me at the moment, so here are a couple from a few days ago in the run:
Our friends Tiny and Lautrec gave us this really nice award a few days ago:
Actually, it is more for #1 than for us, as it comes with a list of questions she has to answer, so I shall hand the keyboard over to her for this. See you all soon!
1. What would your perfect day consist of?
No pressure. All the animals healthy. Friends.
2. How would you describe yourself if you were an item of clothing?
A pair of sturdy shoes!
3. What hobbies are you currently working on?
Mainly taking photos.
4. Walking in the woods in wellies or bare foot on the beach?
I get to do both which is great. In the summer, I love to walk barefoot on the empty beaches in Prince Edward island. Tommy and I walk in the woods here quite often.
5. Have you ever hugged or sang to a tree?
Nope. I love trees but don't see the need to hug them. Rescuing them is another matter, though. Currently, I have two rescues, an oak and a maple, both very young!
6. Growing your own veggies or nipping to the supermarket?
My schedule really doesn't allow me to have a vegetable garden, plus I am not terribly good at it AND the next-door neighbour has a huge patch and is happy to share!
7. Have you found anyone exciting in your family tree?
Quite a few characters.
8. Slap up meal in a posh restaurant or fish ‘n’ chips from the wrapper?
Both are wonderful as long as the food is good!
9. Which element do you most resonate with, Earth, Air, Fire or Water?
FIRE! I am a Leo with a very firey horoscope!
10. Do you believe in fairies?
I photographed one just yesterday!
Thanks, Tiny and Lolo! We think this has done the rounds quite a bit already, so happily offer it to any friends who would like to try it.
Tama-Chan, I undertand about the bird. While I have not exactly caught a squirrel, I have come quite close a few times and you'd think the humans would be cheering me on. But no - they act as though my having a success like that would be a BAD thing? Humans...can't live without 'em, can't understand 'em sometimes.
ReplyDeleteCongragulations to #1 on the award. Most interesting list. Funny that the fairy question should arise right after you were visited by one, isn't it?
wags, Lola
Wowzers! That counts as big game!
ReplyDeletelookit that huge fev-ver you deaded!! WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteHumans are so odd. It's not like they could deaded a bird that big and live to tell the tale!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award!
We can't believe that Sei-Chan and you went to all that trouble to get a birdie for #1 and she wasn't appreciative - that's humans for you!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award and your big game trophy!
ReplyDeleteMy Purr Gang is indoor only thus I have lots of birds visiting our yard. When they did go out, I couldn't feed the birds ... now I can.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award. The Woman is laughing about the bird. One time our Georgia cat brought a bird to the Woman and she was so full of herself and proud that her eyes were practically rolling around in their sockets. The Woman let her drop the bird but she just couldn't scold her she was so excited. So she said "I am really impressed with your hunting skills. You are such a good cat. But I don't need a bird to eat, nor will I eat it, so you don't need to bring me one again."
ReplyDeleteWow, that was a good catch you got there! I hope you get to go in your run again soon.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award!

Tama, you are stunning as usual. Really liking those pik-shers of you today. and concatulations to you and Sei-Chan for the offering of fresh birdie to your #1. it is a shame it was not appreciated, but we kittehs know the value of such a gift. Pee-Ess: is Yuu-Chan getting ready for his party tomorrow night? me and BA are pretty-ing up to be his dates!
ReplyDeleteTiger is impressed by your hunting skills....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the award, #1! It was fun reading your answers to the questions!
*le sigh* all that work catching a birdie and does #1 pluck it and cook it for you?
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with BiBi? Kitten crazies?
#1, we enjoyed your answers very much.
It is too bad that the weather got bad there again - sounds like what we have here now too. We hope it warms up for you.
ReplyDeleteAnd we love #1's answers - they are good ones!
WE hope that the crazy kitten-ness calms down - we have it here too so we can sympathize.
How exciting about the bird! And an extra feat seeing as you were in the run at the time!
ReplyDeleteSorry your weather is cool and cloudy again. We hope it improves soon. We like #1's answers, esp. comparing herself to sturdy shoes!
ReplyDeleteWe have miserable rain here again and lots of it with flooding and big thunder boomers.
ReplyDeleteToo bad #1 wasn't pleased about the feather feat but did it fly into your run?
Congrats on the award and nice sharing from #1.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Hi guys, Tiny here...yeah...I don't even LOOK at birds anymore because I did what you did more than once and, well, Mom was very, very, very NOT happy! Since then, no matter where they are or how close...I look away. And they are really mean those birds because they intentionally try to tempt me by coming close. I have to remain strong. Lautrec looks, but he just lies there waiting for ME to do something. Mancats. We liked #1's answers...nice to know her better. Oh, and is it really cold and rainy again there? Dang...we were just starting to really get into this great weather...I guess we'll be getting what you have soon...grrrr. Purrs to all, Tiny
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE the toes pic, the first one on this post! You guys have such an excellent house, and we love your enclosure!
