You have probably had more than enough of my Japan experiences by now, but I do have a few more photos I would like to share with you, starting with these two of advertising posters I saw:
I also had the opportunity to attend a CFA cat show when I was in Tokyo. I met this very cute female blue Abyssinian whose full name is Sakura Hime (Princess Cherry Blosom) but is known as "Ku-Chan":
and this blue guy whose name was Luke:
These three ruddy girl kittens were trying to go off and explore on their own!
And there were some gorgeous Russian Blues, who made me think of our friend MISHA:
It was a lot of fun to see all these cats!
Tomorrow, the gang will be back. They are being very patient as I bombard them with the camera in readiness!
Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures from the cat show. My Mom is very partial to Abbys, but all the cats looks special.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you had a wonderful time at the cat show. Sweet pictures.

Mom hasn't been to a cat show in a long time...she wants to go to one again.
ReplyDeleteWow! So many kats!! Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
Some very beautiful cats in those pictures!
ReplyDeleteMy sissy-in-law went to a cat show once. She said it was most different from a dog show. But even so, those kitties work hard and look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Fun cat show!! Did you see any Orientals like me?
ReplyDeleteKaze
Awww, one day, I'll have to go to a cat show again. Those kitties were such beauties!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely kitties you saw - and beautiful pics too. We are all just so glad that nothing bad happened to your beloved pets or to you while those evil ones were there.
ReplyDeleteWoos, the OP Pack

PeeEssWoo: Hi Tommy!
Wow, I am just catching up and when I saw the start of your post I had to go read yesterdays first. What a horrible experience. They obviously don't know much about animals or their care because you seem to be a great mom to them all.
ReplyDeleteNow, back to today - the pictures from the cat show were so cute - kitties are so adorable always! It looks like the cat show had to be a lot of fun with all the cuteness there!

We really enjoyed your Japanese photos. The NSLM has it earmarked as one of his 'must visits' but only in cherry blossom season! He may be waiting a long time!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for emailing our 'Ministers' today and for contacting Irish Guide Dogs. We really appreciate it.
lots of woofs

I would love to go to a cat show. It would be very exciting I am sure. Can't wait to see the whole gang tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour friend,
Niamh
Stunning kitties. I love your posts when you talk about your travels & interests -- I've never been to Japan, so it is fun to hear about!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Misha is international!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures from the cat show. Lovely kitties! Did they also have a "domestic" cat class (meaning non-pedigree) like we do at a lot of shows in the US now? Still reeling over your experience with the house sitters...i know that in the UK the philosophy is to mostly let cats outdoors and roam at will, but still...they knew what the rules were when they took on the job. And to heap abuse on you? Beyond weird!
ReplyDeleteYour answer is matchless... :)
