Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Well...... You know how excited we were about having visitors? #1 got a cal from her cousin yesterday morning, and she has COVID! So, no visitors after all! Well, never mind. I am sure we will find other entertainment. This, of course, is the kind of entertainment I deal with on a daily basis...

That boy definitely needs another outlet for his energy than trying to chase after me.

Here I am , once again helping #1 with her work.

Manly Monday

 

Benny: I get to kick off manly Monday today! Every time I do zoomies around the house or try to get Queen Tama to play with me, #1 keeps muttering that I really need a playmate. Empty words so far... Do you think I'll get one anytime soon?

Here is  a rather mysterious pic of me chasing buzzy insects at #1's bedside lamp:

And helping #1 make the bed in the guest room for our guests who are arriving on Wednesday.

The Big V: When Miss Heloise had that Jubilee photo shoot last week, I had to supervise closely:

Ollie: When I went to see my girls last week, another good friend, Melba, was there! Melba is a real sweetie!

She has the most beautiful smile!

Of course, I got to spend time with Noelle and Lily too!

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Things are busy at this end, Dear Friends. #1 has a lot of work, plus we have guests, cousins actually, coming to stay from Wednesday to Sunday, so there needs to be some tidying up and cleaning done. So, I am offering what comfort I can, as often as I can, even though she sometimes tells me that I should not try to sit on her laptop so much of the time!

We have a pretty good snuggle line-up today. I'll start with a couple of me snuggled up in bed with #1:

Miss Violette decided to stay under the shade of the tree, so #1 had to throw her apples and carrots to her!

Heloise's Jubilee Friday!

 

Heloise: Youthful Neighs, Everyone! So, here I am, to join in the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. As a mater of fact, I have no idea what's going on, but there are two very important things here. The first is that the Queen loves horses, I am told! The second is that I love it when I get fussed over. So, I was very happy to play along!

#1 started out by putting a bunting on me!

And look at the beautiful jubilee brass she got!

She says that she loves the fact that, even though for most people, brasses are just decorative, we use ours for what they were originally designed for!

#1 gave me a good brushing until my coat gleamed!

Ms. C braided my forelock:

We then decided to re-arrange the bunting, as it was looking a bit messy, and the result was awesome!

#1 kept telling me how gorgeous I looked! And we organised a bit of a photo shoot!

And after it was all over, I got a lovely treat bucket!

I love jubilees!

Thankful Thursday

 

Benny: I am thankful for the great new toy that #1 got me! It has three levels and three balls that spin around!

And we are thankful that #1 had a great time and is back from Paris! She says her eye surgeon is an idiot. She will return to see her regular ophthalmologist soon.

Wave the flag on Wednesday!

 

Benny: We are not much into flag-waving at this end, but #1 has been telling us about a very important event this week, the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II! There are all sorts of celebrations planned for the 4-day holiday weekend in the UK. We of course are in France, but we thought we would also be doing a bit of celebrating!

The horses will be celebrating too. They will tell you about it later in the week!
