Festive Friday - Ollie's Birthday!

 

#1 here. Today, we celebrate our Ollie's 8th Birthday. I can't believe it has been that many years since the little pup arrived at Poupounette Central, with the healing of a broken heart as his initial mission. Tommy had gone to the Bridge just after Christmas, and the house was so sad. I started looking through the ads for Springer Spaniel puppies very quickly, and came across a black and white pup not very far from where I live. So I went to visit.

Ollie came home a couple of weeks later, at the end of January:

His first check-up with Dr. C:

He quickly made friends with Fernant:

He grew like a weed!

And he got to meet Tommy's sister Sophie, in April!

Ollie is in so many ways totally different from Tommy, but they do share one thing: a very gentle nature. They are both friends to everyone they meet and totally devoid of any aggressive behaviour. It is a characteristic of the breed and one of the reasons I like Springer Spaniels so much.
