Benny The Black: We're late! We're LATE! We do apologise but we lost our phone and Internet connection early yesterday evening and have only just gotten it back at noon on Tuesday.
I wanted to tell you that #1 spoke with Dr. C about me yesterday. You may remember that I have coughing fits, just like Queen Tama used to have, and so have been on a micro-dose of prednisone for a while. #1 noticed that I was sleeping more than usual and, knowing that coughing can also be a symptom of heart issues in cats, was a little concerned. She discussed it at some length with Dr. C who suggested one good way of seeing if my heart was "over-burdened" would be to count the number of breaths per minute when deeply asleep. It has to be under 30 to be good. So, #1 did this, twice, and the count both times came in at 24! She will monitor me again today, but it now looks as though I was just adjusting to the change in season!
