#1 here. First of all, a big thank you to those of you who have stepped up once again to help me help get little NOURA to France from Lebanon. The new campaign is going well, and I gather some people have already received their refunds from the evil GoFundMe. In case you need it, here is the url of the campaign once again: https://whydonate.com/fundraising/help-rescue-noura-the-kitten.
Let me mention also that, unlike GFM, WhyDonate does not disclose the names of anonymous donors to anyone, not even the campaign organiser! So, if you make an anonymous donation, I'll thank you via the campaign page but that is all I can do.
I have also been speaking with the nice folk at Animals Lebanon to try and get a more accurate timeline for Noura to get here. As you know, she was only about a month old when she was rescued in late March. She had her first set of vaccinations at the end of April, and will be getting her second set very soon, along with her rabies shot. A titer test then has to be done at least 30 days after the rabies shot to make sure she has enough antibodies, and she will only be allowed to travel here (this is EU law) 90 days after the test has been done. So, we are now looking at an arrival date of late September or even early October. It's a long time to wait but as you all know, good things come to those who wait!
I have a couple of really cute new pics of Noura to share:
What an adventure this is for all of us at Poupounette Central, and we are so glad to have the support of so many lovely people around the world!

She will be so loved after all the waiting and other stuff you have to do to get her to you. Hope everything will go as planned!
