Benny The Black: #1 told us that various places in France are breaking records for the hottest day in May ever! It's been around 30°C here. We are lucky because our house is built into a slope, and the ground floor is in fact half underground and therefore stays cool.
I am following advice and taking it easy:
Little Dragon Ryū has been spending time in the cat run. It is north facing and therefore stays relatively pleasant.
The heat wave is supposed to continue through tomorrow.
Heat waves are no fun and you're lucky that you have ways to deal with it naturally.
ReplyDeleteBenny we are so glad to hear that you can stay cool in the house. Unbelievably here it's still cold enough in the mornings that I have to turn furnace on. It's not like I live in siberia. It's really slowed down flowers and seedlings from growing. But it makes the kitty happy when she goes out on the patio.
