Tama-Chan: Greetings, everyone, and welcome to my day of the week. Well, we have begun to settle into our "new normal" with the addition of the newbie. I must say he does remind me of my very own kits. It's been a long time. But it is nice to see another Aby here. It was getting to be a little too black and white, if you see what I mean!
As you can imagine, it is very important to find my own quiet spaces in the midst of the havoc being caused by the youngsters.
I have to say that #1 has been taking very good care of me. I have been getting lots of brushies.
And enjoying sunpuddles on the days it has not rained.
And have even been sampling a little bit of #1's milk!
Now for the not so good news. Yes, you guessed, #1 is off again. She leaves on Thursday to attend the European Eventing Championships at Haras du Pin where she will be working as a "fixer" for Team GB. The British team is very strong and their goal is to repeat the clean sweep of medals that they did two years ago. It's going to be exciting! She gets back on Sunday evening, then will be gone all day Monday and Tuesday and again the following Thursday. Mr. G will be looking after us, so we will be fine, but we will probably not to be able to blog for about a week after our Wednesday post. Apologies in advance! Mr. G will probably post some photos on the Poupounette FB page. Don't forget about us!
milk is a good thin, you can milk it ;O) we wish your #1 a wonderful time..
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have had some nice sunny days. Today we have rain yet again! At least we don't have to worry about the hosepipe ban. I hope #1 will have a wonderful time at the Championships.
ReplyDeletewe could never forget all of you, have fun and hope your team wins it all....
ReplyDeleteGee! #1 is a mighty busy human!
ReplyDeleteI do think that she misses you when she is away.
Maybe as August comes to an end, her travels will slow down too.I am sure she would like to stay home with you! As for you(and the gang) we could not forget you!!
Purrs, Julie
Tama-Chan, you haven't yet figured out how to keep #1 at home.
ReplyDeleteYou are a beauty, and keep your eye on the new wee beastie.
It sounds like you are warming up a bit to the new addition, Tama-Chan. Our mom is jealous that #1 is going to the eventing competition. We used to have one here and it even attracted some Olympic level riders, but sadly they couldn't compete with so many other eventing competitions and they no longer have it here.
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "It is definitely important to have a quiet space to hide from the youngsters! For me, that's usually Dada's office, although Oona still comes and finds me there sometimes ..."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "We hope #1 has another good trip!"
What news for #1.
ReplyDeleteOh Honey ,no way will I forget you.
ReplyDeleteIt's always wonderful to see you sweet Tama! That's a lot of gone time, bet that will confuse the newbie so watch out for him.
