Thankful Thursday?

 

Ryū-Chan: I don't know, #1, I am not sure I should be thankful that you carted me off to the vet. Yes, I did have the runs and I am better, but I am also hoarse because I felt obliged to sing the Aby Anthem all the way there and back. And Dr. C dared invade my private parts whilst you held me down!

In other news, I am thankful for my home and family. I have found a place from where I can survey everything:

I love playing with my brothers!

But I hear that #1 is going to be leaving us on Sunday. Does that mean she won't be there? What shall I do? Benny and Momo tell us that Mr. G will be with us, so it will still be fun, and I can snuggle with him at night. I also hear that Ollie won't be here. He is going to stay with our friend Ms. H. She lost her woofie, Yumi, last year, and asked if she could borrow Ollie whilst #1 is away. 

We will be blogging through Sunday but probably not the following week. #1 will be stewarding at the European Dressage and Para-Dressage Championships in Riesenbeck, Germany, and probably working 12-hour days. Mr. G will probably post some photos on our Facebook page, though.

Wednesday Whinnies With The Big V

 

Vidock: Handsome Neighs, EveryFriend! The Big V here! You didn't think you would hear from me again so soon, did you? Well, I wanted to tell you about and show you pics of my session with the equine osteopath last week. She was really good and said I needed some serious tunings up!

I feel SO much better, and she is going to come back in a month. I'm a lucky boy!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends. We woke up this morning to heavy autumn mists. I guess the season is starting to change. We have had a relatively easy summer, without the terrible heat waves in other parts, so we consider ourselves lucky. As you know, finding sunpuddles must always be a priority:

Nothing much else to report. The boys spend their days running around and creating havoc. Youngsters!

As long as they don't disturb my beauty sleep!

Manly Monday

 

Benny: Happy new week, everyone! We all continue to enjoy our "Little Dragon". #1 tells me that I need to be careful as I don't know my own strength and so can be a bit rough. I will try to do better but let me tell you, that little scamp doesn't need any lessons in hissing and growling if he doesn't like what's going on!

Oh, and by the way, I have black toe beans too!

Ryū-Chan: Is he gone?

A stranger came to our house last week. #1 said he was there to do the annual maintenance on our water softener, so I supervised.

This guy really loves cats and #1 had to check his stuff carefully when he left to make sure I wasn't in there!

I am told that Queen Tama is the great specialist in dangles and, as the junior Aby in this house, I am trying to follow in her pawsteps:

Momo: I have discovered the fireplace! It's a fun place to curl up for a nap!

#1 says I'm going to have to find a new place to relax once winter comes as she really doesn't want any roast Momo incidents.

Ollie: We're off to see the grils, Lily and Leonie, this afternoon so I am resting up.

OK, girls, where are you? I'm ready to play!

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: No doubt about it, weeks when #1 is home are lovely weeks! I can snuggle with her to my heart's content!

When Mr. G and Ms. N came to tea earlier this week, Ollie enjoyed a big snuggle with Ms. N!

And he continues to snuggle with both Benny and Momo:

Ryū-Chan isn't quite there yet, but he's getting closer!

He does, however, snuggle a lot with #1!

After #1's visit to The Big V last Monday, we have some snuggle pics with him too!

Feline Friday

 

Benny: Hello from your favourite mini-panther! Momo and I have been very busy teaching young Ryū all kinds of things, which has left me exhausted!

As Momo is only a year old, he has more energy, so he showed Ryū-Chan the cat run!

The little one is a real little monkey!

Ryū-Chan: What do you mean, the chair is supposed to be the other way up?

#1 managed to get this great pic of the three of us boys as we waited for our morning treats:

I can barely hear myself think!

But I do get special consideration as Queen! For example, when Mr. G and Ms. N came for tea earlier this week, they brought a cake to celebrate #1's birthday, and I got to have some (it was a sponge cake with pear):
