Sakura Saturday

#1 here. Many of you will already know that Sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese. When my Tommy went to the Bridge in late 2018, I decided to bury him under my late-blooming "Yae-Zakura" cherry tree which produces beautiful bunches of pink blossoms. Da Beebs joined him there in May 2019. This week, the tree is in full bloom, achieving the exact effect I wanted when I put the boys to rest there.

There are also buttercups around the graves.

Gone but never forgotten.

  7. The Sakura Cherry tree is gorgeous. What a gorgeous place for Ollie and Da Beebs! Mom came down the Okanagan yesterday and seeing all the trees in bloom was spectacular! Our trees are just starting up here in Midway. Thanks for sharing the gorgeousness! Purrs Marv
