Snuggles on Sunday

 

Genji: Mee-Yow Everyone. Thanks again for all the love. I'm hanging in there. #1 hopes to hear back from the animal communicator today and we should be getting the aloe vera gel next week. In the meantime, I have mostly been eating OK, and doing a lot of snugging with #1.

Sei-Chan's Souvenir Saturday

 

Rainbow Sei: We have been worried about our little blue boy, down at Poupounette Central. In fact, Tommy and Da Beebs have been busy barricading the gates up here. He is not wanted at this time! We want him to stay with #1, Mama Tama and Ollie, get better and put some weight back on.

So, I was thinking about what we could do for today's post, and then I had a thought. You know how my sis, Tama, loves to dangle? Well, I thought it would be fun to have dangle shots of all of us at the Bridge. I shall go first:

Family Friday

 

Genji: Hi Everyone! Thanks for all those purrs and crossed paws. I did well yesterday. In fact, #1 let me share her chicken lunch by cutting up some small pieces, and I tried to steal a big piece!

#1 says she is also ordering some aloe vera products for me. She and I are getting into a routine for my meds, so it's less stressful for both of us.

My bro, Ollie, continues to watch over me.

As does Mama Tama:

It's good to have family you can count on!

Thankful Thursday

 

Ollie: This week, I am once again thankful for my friends. I don't know whether I have ever introduced you to Yooky. He lives with our neighbours in the other side from Fernant. The other ady, his people were repairing the fence, and he came to over to play.

And there is of course my bestie girl, Noelle, and Big Black:

And we are thankful for the lovely weather we are getting at the moment, and the spring flowers in our garden.

We will keep you posted on Genji. He has been eating a little better these past two days, and #1 is talking with someone about giving him Aloe Vera gel. We will try anything that might help him.

Some Words Wednesday

 

#1 here. Thanks for the kind words and love for Genji. I spoke to the vet about what night be done to help, and will also be using an animal communicator to try and get his side of things. I am trying hard to find solutions to make him feel better and keep him with us.

I took some photos yesterday that were pretty weird in that Genji was in full sun and looks almost like a ghost (especially in the second one!).

I also spoke with my vet and she gave me some ideas. Right now, Genji is walking a very fine line. Ironically, I am here all the time now, thanks to COVID. so I can give him all the love and care he needs.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: So, today is the last Tuesday for the month of February. The weather has gotten warmer and we are supposed to be getting some sunshine from today. We try to put on a brave face but #1 is really worried about the little blue boy. He is painfully thin and his appetite varies considerably from day to day. #1 has decided that she will up some of his meds from today. We could use any crossed paws and purrs you could send our way.

I wish that being cute was enough to make Genji feel better and #1 less worried...

Manly Monday

 

Genji: Mee-Yow! Your favourite Shining Prince here. #1 said I should give you a bit of an update. So, I am still really skinny but I am eating more regularly and better. My current (this week...) regime is alternate days of the stomach binder (Phosphaluvet) with CBD oil and a quarter Pepcid (which a friend kindly sent us from the States. Do any of our friends use Pepcid? We'll see how we go. Here are my manly pics for this week:

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Can you believe that there is only one week left to February? I thought that 2021 had only just started! The weather here has warmed up and a few spring flowers are beginning to appear in the garden.

Yesterday morning, #1 realised that we didn't have any snuggle shots together to include in this week's post, so we took a quick selfie together:

That said, I did quite a bit of snuggling last week because Fernant was with us for several days and I love Fernant. It's probably because he brings with him so may memories of Tommy...
