Squirrelly SEIturday

Sei-Chan: Sigh….. You do remember, don't you, that I always seem to get lumbered with them? I suspect it's because we're both red, but honestly! Why do I always have squirrels shoving into my posts?

There's something there. Most definitely!

I need to get a closer look:

Cheeky little thing!

That was the other day, when the weather was OK. But yesterday, it was raining and this tiny little squirrel junior showed up, saying he was hungry, and looking like a drowned rat…

As you can see, he's about the size of three walnuts, with his tailed totally curled up over his head, but he was a brave little thing, scared off neither by #1 nor any of us! Here he is, tucking into some sunflower seeds:

And not in the least bit concerned by having one Beebs just inches away, gawping at him!

Definitely worth thinking about…

The Reds over and out. Have yourselves a Super SEIturday!

PS: #1 and Tommy are off to a family lunch in Paris today so we kitties are being abandoned, and we're likely to be slow with commenting.

  2. Great pictures of the squirrel. He is a cheeky little thing. Squirrels are little brave animals and smart too. He knew you were inside. Maybe they have good smellers. Anyway, have a great day.

  4. We have been seeing lots of those little gray ones around our neighborhood. They stay out of our yard, but they still torment us from outside the kingdom's walls:)

  5. The squirrels out here are fox squirrels, and their patterns are similar to ruddy Abys and Somalis. So everytime my human sees them on her walks, she thinks of me!
