SEIturday

Sei-Chan: Ahem…. I have to mention that my SEIturday post one week ago got only nine comments, making it the only post in longer than we can remember to have had fewer than ten comments. Friends, I am mortified! Do you not find my SEiturday ponderings and photos worthy of comment? Sniff… When I think of all the time and effort I put in to preparing my posts! Double sniff…

Well, now that I've gotten that of my chest, let's get down to this week's business, shall we? The weather has been mostly lovely and #1 has had plentiful opportunity to take nice sunpuddle shots. Here I am on the lizard-viewing platform:

Now please take a good look at this next photo, in particular look in the region of my front paws:

Yes! That is indeed a lizard. We wouldn't tell #1 who actually caught it, but I played with it a lot. It was fun!

I was pleased!

And very sleepy from all the effort!

Wishing you all a lovely SEIturday!

  1. A Lizard!!!You are a really good hunter Sei-Chan. We hardly ever get to catch a lizard. But then we hardly ever get lizards at all. Don't worry over much about the number of comments. We are sure you have a legion of admirers.

  2. How exciting! I love catching lizards, and they almost never come inside the house. And it's even harder to catch them without my human's knowing about it!

  3. Oh we would love to catch a lizard but we don't have many of those around here and maybe that is because we have caught them all. Hope all of you have a great day.

  4. Did you kill it Sei-Chan or did #1 rescue it?

  6. Was that lizard still wiggling when you were playing with it? We don't have lizards around here but we are also sure our mom wouldn't let us play with one inside if we did.

  7. I think a lot of commenters have gone away. But hopefully you get lots more than 10 comments this time around. :)

  8. You are looking lovely. I bet those cats couldn't wrangle their humans inside if it was a nice day last week.

  17. Sei-Chan, we are quite impressed that you caught a lizard. We see those in our yard once in a great while, but they are really super fast, they are gone in a flash. You must be Super Sei-Chan. We are sorry we missed your post last week, Mom said something about four soccer games and babysitting duties. We will try to keep her doing a better job.

  20. Great catch : a lizard ! No matter who got it, it's so much fun !
Don't worry about comments : many people visit blogs without leaving a comment, or check their favs without commenting by lack of time (yes, Mum, I'm talking about you !). Comments are sometimes harder to catch than a lizard ! Purrs, Zorro

  22. With all that typing, where did you find time for lizard hunting? Nap time? Then deep meditation? You had a very busy Seiturday!

  23. Just because you are a sweet, shy kitty doesn't mean that you don't have a bit of great jungle huntress in you.
    Kisses and hugs, precious love.
