Da Beebs: Today is Tuesday and it is the day that #1 leaves for Belgium. We will be crossing all our paws that she has a safe journey and her knee holds up. She is joining "Team GB" aka the British Heavy Horse Driving Trials Club for the "Route du Luxembourg Belge" a major heavy horse rally race that will be held in the Ardennes.
Anyway, yesterday, she was making up the bed in the guest room as Mr. R is coming over to look after us and work on some reports (HaHa!). I was of course helping her when my tail suddenly went totally out of control. I felt an initial twitch...
I tried to put an immediate stop to it...
But it was already too late. It was out of control!
Serious acrobatics were needed:
But I finally managed to calm it down...
You can never trust those tails, can you?
PS: Our commenting is likely to be somewhat erratic until #1 gets home. Our apologies in advance.
You're a good mancat to be so helpful!
ReplyDeleteOh, those tails aren't trustworthy at all. Pierre says that his tail tells him to do bad things, so he has to bite it.
ReplyDeleteTails. You can't trust them!
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad you didn't pull another disappearing act when #1 left! Be good, Beebs!
When all else fails, chase the tail!
ReplyDeleteWe hope #1's trip goes well.
You're right Bibi tails are very naughty and need a firm paw to control them.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hope #1 has a safe trip. You can never trust a tail. Speaking of which, mom calls mine a feather duster.
ReplyDeleteYes, sometimes you need to grab those tails and go!
ReplyDeletethose tails can be pesky.
ReplyDeletetell #1 to have fun and be safe
Like the rest of her, Binga's tail has been known to get out of control! She always subdues it in the end - I guess crazy neutralizes crazy.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with #1's trip!
Score! You caught that rascal-y tail, good job! Hope #1 has a safe and enjoyable trip.

Courage.

Those tails just never know when to behave.
ReplyDeleteI hope #1 has a lovely trip.
Dadster has a shirt that says Tails cause Drag, BOL. When we had Bokeh doing Frisbee he would tease the dogs with tails.
ReplyDeleteThose tails... they need discipline and I'm sure the Beebs is the perfect kitty to do so!
ReplyDeleteMom would love to attend one of those events. Sounds wonderful. Crossed paws for that knee
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
we hate it when that happens!!!
ReplyDeleteBeebs! It was the tale of the twitching tail! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip #1. Safe travels and we will "see" you when you get back.
the critters in the cottage xo
Whew, good thing you got that tail under your paws - never know what it might do. All paws crossed for all of you to do fine while #1 is away and for #1's knee to behave.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Whew! For a second there, we thought that tail was gonna get away from you!
ReplyDeleteWe're purring for #1 and hope all goes well on her trip.
Have a good trip and we hope your knee holds up ok! We'll be here when you get back.
ReplyDeleteAby's have the prettiest tails, all the ticking! No wonder they are 'tasty' too! Thanks everso for your visits to our bloggie, too!
