Tom: Happy New Week, everyone! I seem to remember The Beebs expressing some dissatisfaction with our weather a week ago. Well, it has not improved. At all. In the past week, we have had half a day of half sunshine and that's it. The poor Vs are in fields that just seem to get muddier and muddier and nobody can do anything about it. The fields I run in are sponges from all the rain that has fallen. There has been talk, on and off, of maybe some snow this week but nothing seems certain other than it's going to get colder. Anyway, you know me, nothing much stops me!
Not even mud!
That photo was taken over at the Vs'. Fortunately, the fields around the house are not quite as bad.
Genji: I think it is very important to be able to entertain yourself and be versatile in your choice of toys:
Sitting at the window, watching Bird TV, is fun:
With my Paw of Doom at the ready!
Bibi-Chan: Because of her sciatica, #1 has been taking hot baths, and I have been supervising to make sure she does not drown!
I like to meditate at the window...
It's tiring work:
Vidock: Hmmmmm... photos..... let me think.... I don't think I have any new photos as I used them all on Friday. This one is from the same shoot as Friday:
And this one is from before, with a great view of the mud:
You can tell it's earlier as I'm wearing my other headcollar. By the way, did I mention that #1 has been doing all kinds of shopping for me? She now has everything she needs to ride me, including a nice handmade Amish bridle. She also took off the western stirrups on the stock saddle and replaced them with regular stirrups after her Australian friends said that that is how they all ride stock saddles over there. She finally found big enough saddle pads too. So now she just needs to get on my back!
Tommy, that certainly looks muddy over there! Hope the sun breaks through soon and sorry to hear that #1 is still suffering! We hope this week sees a little improvement!
ReplyDeleteShe must be really looking forward to getting to ride Vidock!
take care and best wishes to #1

We can't wait to see photos of Vidock under saddle! Try to stay dry!

We've had super warm weather and all our snow melted so now our backyard is a mucky mess. Not quite as bad as the V's pastures, but getting close. I hope we get more snow soon.

Ugh! That mud looks awful! Its been on the dry side here for the last couple years. Too bad the rain doesn't even out. We are crossing our fingers so the rain lets up & you can dry out.
