Wonder Boy Wednesday!

The Beebs: You may be wondering (are you really?) why I am the Wonder Boy? Aside from the obvious, it actually is because I am the only one that #1 managed to catch properly on photo lately, aside from one shot of the Genj (see below).

So, here we go. In the first one, I am supervising the birdies at the feeder:

In the next two, I am looking down on #1 as she takes a nap (she is suffering from sciatica at the moment, so she is groan-ridden...).

And here is the one I promised you of Genji. Does he not appear to be missing his front limbs?

And that, Dear Friends, is the best we can do for you today. By the way, #1 has gone on strike about taking down the Christmas tree. The sciatica does play a role in this, but she has also declared that she is not taking it down until we see the sun again!

  2. Oh, dearie me. Sciatica sounds dreadful! Hoping #1 is feeling much better quite soon! And as far as the tree goes, Christmas can never last TOO long so far as I am concerned!

Hope you all get a sunshiney day today!

  3. WONDERful photos - as those of such handsome felines always are. But we did wonder about Genji's front paws. Perhaps they are stuck up in a tree, trying to sunbathe!
Siatica does not sound fun. Lots of massage needed perhaps?

  4. Genji, you are a CATLOAF! Mom loves when I am a catloaf. Beebs, you are gleaming with health and what a great job of supervision of both the birds and #1.

I imagine that the sciatica is horribly painful and is there anything these days to be done about it or must one bear it until it eases off? I hope that is immediately.

  5. Oh we hope that #1 feels better soon. That must be very painful for her. Those are great pictures.

  6. We hope your #1 is feeling less ouchie very soon - have you tried giving her a gentle massage and some heat treatment?

  7. Look at the green of your eyes in photo 1! Yes, Genji lost his front legs entirely, poor chap. #1, do feel better soon. And there is definitely no point in trying to take a tree down if the weather isn't nice for getting it out. (ours is still up too).

  9. handsome Beebs and a legless Genji!! We hope #1 is feeling better soon, but we suspect the sun won't come back out just cause she threatens to leave up the tree :)

  11. Aw, we hope your #1 feels better soon! Perhaps you could cuddle her rather that just watch her groan?
Genji's cat-loaf position is adorably legless!

  12. I hope your human's sciatica calms down soon - although I guess that probably means the tree would come down soon too.

  13. Why not leave the tree up all year! That'd be great fun. We hope #1 is feeling better soon.

  14. Purrs that your mum's sigh-at-ica gets better. We like your pictures and we have lots of sun here. So lots of sun puddles.

Missing limbs, just keeping them warm and doing the loaf.

Mum took the inside Christmouse stuff down and put it away. But she says the outside lights will stay on until she gets a new jobbie or her purrthday next month.

  15. Hehehe, whenever kitties lie down like Genji is in the last photo she calls them Cadbury bunnies. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds cute!

  20. Poor #1! We'll be purring for her. Back pain is a terrible way to waste your days. Its always nice to have the tree around for a while before going back to our humdrum lives.

  23. Beebs!! Dude!! Lookin mighty fine!! So sorry that I got to be Hot Mancat before you (hehehe!)..I know you think I'm a little pipsqueak since I'm only 10 months old, but I tell you, I look much older than my tender months and I even weigh 5.5kg already!! We know this because - sadly - I had my 'operation' a couple of weeks ago and they had to weigh me. Have you had THE operation? Mom and Dad are happy that I had it, but I'm still not sure. They say I am much calmer and that I don't howl anymore, but I kinda miss my bijoux...they were so nice...what about you? Did your #1 even ask you if she could 'damage' you? Mom and Dad just picked me up and cuddled me and all that loveliness then I was put into the carrying cage and before I knew it, there was something poking me in my leg then I felt very sleepy...after that I don't remember anything...only waking up and feeling 'lighter' on the other end..and it being a bit itchy. Am I no longer a real mancat because of it?? Please advise me because I don't know any other mancats and, well, you guys all knew Lolo so I'm guessing that I can confide in you since he did. I think you are one cool looking mancat and I'm sure you will be a Hot Mancat, too!! I think they should make a calendar of us. Yep. They must!! We are two wild and crazy schmexy mancats!! haha! Purrs and headbutts, your pal, Elioth
