The first package came from our Prince Edward Island friend, Ms.D. There was a book for #1 on the history of farm horses in PEI, which thrilled her no end, but look what was also in the package:
And there was also this:
Beautiful notecards from seventeenth and eighteenth century screens illustrating "The Tale of Genji." She calls them "Tributes to Gen-Chan"! We trust you now understand why she is so deserving of the Order of Canada. Thank you, Ms. D!
There was also a big box from Tommy's family in Normandy. It was packed with stuff but I shall focus on two items. We kitties got a set of really fun food bowls from our Normandy cousins:
As for Tommy, his Mama Minnie, GrandMama Katie and sisters, cousins and aunt sent him a big towel with his name embroidered on it!
It clearly was full of the most wonderful smells!
He just loves it!
Thank you to Minnie, Katie, Harry, Cora, Sophie, Elsie, Lydia, Emily and of course Ms. A and Mr. R!
I didn't want to leave you without a picture of me, so here I am, napping on the radiator in the kitchen:
So much great stuff! Wild West Crunch Party Mix is my absolute favorite treat! Tom, that towel will be very useful when you go outside and get your ears and paws wet.
ReplyDeleteOH! Everyone got such treats!!!! Love Tommy's towel and the food bowls too. Party Mix? The Admiral's fave! The Tale of Genji..what a coup! I wouldn't have been able to resist that either had I seen it. I would have wanted to send it straight to you.
ReplyDeleteTama -Chan You are looking satiny and glorious! As always.Mom C
What great gifts from your friend Ms D and Tommy's family. We can see Tommy was enjoying all the delicious smells on his towel. It's got his name on too so paws off!! We bet the book "The Tale of Genji" will become a family favourite one to read over and over again.
