Anyway, the end result is that I got time out in the back room so I could calm down and relax. Even though I call it "time out" it's actually a very pleasant experience. #1 tries to stay with me as long as she can, and she grooms me at length with the Zoom Groom which I love! It makes me feel so much better. It was somewhat annoying to have Genji crying outside the door for most of the time but what can you do? I eventually relaxed properly and #1 was able to open the door once more in the early evening.
Here is my half-way between contrite and pleased photo:
The whole episode also gave #1 the opportunity to do a great photo shoot of me!
Awwww Tama. Did a little Genji cat give you a hard time? At least you got some quality time with #1 and a pawsome photo shoot ;)
ReplyDeleteYou do look lovely :)
We like the title too because of the alliteration ;)

Hooray for one on one with #1!
ReplyDeleteWhitey has been getting special dispensation on account of his boogery nose. He's been in the office with Momma since he's been boogery.
We hope temper are all soothed now, and everyone will be getting long well. Perhaps #1 and Tommy being way somehow changed some of the dynamics in the house between the cats.
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear you got upset yesterday Tama-Chan - those boys are probably going through a silly phase as boys do!! Anyway you got a wonderful session with #1 and zoom groom (Hannah just loves it when she gets zoomed too).
ReplyDeleteThe upside of this is that we get to see those lovely pictures of her looking very regal.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
So is it possible that there was no real reason for your tantrum other than wanting some alone time with #1? BOl - bet you enjoyed that zoom groom massage AND some cuddles with #1. Great photoshoot too.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Tama you look far too sweet even angelic... to actually be capable of having a tantrum!!
ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage xo
P.S. Esme has "meltdowns" once in a while since the kittens have arrived :( LP separates her from everyone too and gives her some special one on one time too.Esme is very sensitive and needs plenty of extra love :)
We use "time out" here at our house too...but usually it means that Figaro gets 15 minutes locked in the bathroom by himself for being a trouble maker! It does work well!
ReplyDeleteTama - we thing that a "time out" like that would come in handy. You are very lovely.... and we are SURE the Beebs is to blame!!
ReplyDeleteWe think the tantrum was worth it if #1 could take such good pictures of you. Boys are no good. I kept telling san that but she does not beleive me!
ReplyDeleteAkira
PS You are such a pretty sight. :) The word verification has THAT right - sight :))
Breathe breathe..:)
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
Tama you were stunning in the photo shoot. Sounds like you made the most of your tantrum.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Anyone as beautiful as you are deserves the odd tantrum - que prima dona!!
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry that you were forced into a nasty temper but so very happy you had some quality time with #1. I think I shall check into the zoom groom, I know Chani would love it. I wonder how well it works on longhair kitties...
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had to have a trantrum, Tama, but it resulted in a very nice photo shoot! Maybe I will try a tantrum some time.
ReplyDeleteWow. You are lucky to have a mum who calms you down. I think every cat should have a tantrum from time to time. It keeps everyone on their toes...
ReplyDeleteNorty boy! Tama, we think we'd deliberately throw a hissy is we got such nice time outs...
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't bite your Mom! (I sometimes forget....)
ReplyDeleteMandu
Oh my word. We are all entitled to bad days

Tama, you look lovely and sometimes a girl just has to throw a tantrum to get some attention. ~Scylla (the mistress of tantrums)
ReplyDeleteVidock, I would be honored to ride you and have a chance to explore the French Countryside. Perhaps I could even bring Fenris, so he could play with Tommy. ~Arty Mouse
Tama, the photos are fab - the timeout wasn't all bad!
ReplyDeletetake care
Clive and Murray
We seem to remember some tantrums in your past. You would see a neighbor cat outside and take out your furry on Beebs. Could that be the reason? If it were a true Tama tantrum, you probably scared little Genji to death!
ReplyDeleteTama, sometimes us girls have to throw a tantrum to get the attention we so richly deserve. ~Scylla, the Queen of Tantrums
ReplyDeleteVidock, I would love to come ride you and explore the French Countryside. Perhaps I could bring Fenris with me and he could play with Tommy. ~Arty Mouse
How pawsome of #1 to realize you just needed sum extra attention and your own space! We try to give Precious extra attention too.
ReplyDeleteI think the whole thing was trumped up so you could get alone time with #1!
ReplyDeleteWe all need to throw a hissy fit now and then! Love the photo shoot pics.
ReplyDeleteI don't know - you clever girlcats. Go nuts and you get more cuddles! And those shots are very attractive. Maybe we should try tantrums. Oh, Äiti says I already do.
ReplyDeleteTama, are you laughing up your sleeve in that one photo? We think maybe you just made some noise so #1 would spend some time with you. We can't imagine you out of sorts!
